With Build a Figure so popular these days you think mattel will ever give us every figure that will detach easily torso to crotch and legs like in BAF figs? I'm sure its not done so collectors cannot mix and match figures easily but I think it would increase sales as we would be buying multiple figs so we can mix and match our desired looks.
What you all think.

I would love it, and it's definitely possible, but I'm not sure if it's likely.

Seems to be done by Jazwares not sure if its just Deluxe figures that have this but maybe Ultimates should have this option

Like drop down hips Feel that Mattel are certainly threading water these days repaints and no new blood into line. Hope this changes asap. |

Oddly enough, my weird figure OCD makes it impossible for me to grab a pair of hands from my giant bag of spare hands and put them on a figure because I can never decide if the skin color matches 100%. My terrible brain is like, “It’s definitely 90% the same. But I don’t think it’s 100%. I better put these spare hands back in the bag forever.”

Yes Chad Gabriel, Billy Gunn and there have been some Angles that do have them too. It just looks cheap and odd when you have them painted on or even when the paint bleeds onto the legs which don’t break the sculpt. For me, those little details matter… |

As a customizer, I buy multiples of the same figure, and I would buy even more if it were easier to modify figures. |

Just from looking even at comments above and even throughout the forum seems to Mattel with prioritize cost cutting above adding these things for fans. Which is a damn shame. |

Same but I know it will never happen because then we wouldn't need to buy a lot of figures anymore at full cost. We could just buy the cheapest parts and mix and match. We would save a lot of money but mattel would lose money Not in their best interest. |
