Ill start by saying I've been very lucky getting what I wanted. Lots of this is in no small part to help from my old buddy PJ Ive also been lucky getting older figs on Ebay for quite reasonable. but I missed these guys and its all on me...LOL. Legends Rockers RSC Jericho AE Jericho RSC Macho King Kerry & Kevin Von Erich Rick Martel Tito Santana from that WM series(although I may be able to track him down) Elite versions of Dawson & Dash. Blood & Guts Punk & MJF I think we are mailing out your package today or tomorrow. |

After Jakks lost the license, I was out on collecting. I remember going to Kmart and seeing all of the Mattel legends just rot away on pegs. They had a clearance bin at one point with demolition, Akeem, Martel, Vader, Kerry and Kevin and I passed on ALL of them. Seriously one of my biggest collecting regrets ever. Hopefully all of those guys will be back under a deal one day. This hurts my heart. |

I was at a toy show and was about to leave and I saw a legends Texas Tornado MOC for $8.00 and I pass since I already had one. Dumb move.

Total recency, but the FTITL Carmelo. I saw the regular on only 2 occasions, but both times held out for the chase. I ended up with 0 Carmelos.

So not a figure(s) I passed on but two that I sold when I sold my collection last time in 2018 that I will probably never get versions of again in good quality are the Cryme Tyme elites. Soft goods for Shad and the hat, glasses and chain with JTG too. I look on Ebay frequently and have no problem paying +$100 for the set but there's never a good quality set posted when I check. Always see ones with destroyed pupil and eyebrow paint on them unfortunately. Loved those figures. Just not a painter myself and dont trust myself to not mess up when fixing them so the wait for a good set continues.
Maybe one day Mattel will bring them back from the vault somehow. Maybe all proceeds go to Shad's child/family or something.

I remember when my local KMART was closing and I saw a complete end cap with filled with Legends 4 all on clearance.

I know I passed on Martel, The Von Erichs, Brian Pillman, the Road Warriors, and all the rest MULTIPLE times. What a fool I was. I didn't really get too interested in the Mattel stuff until they signed Macho Man. I've been hooked ever since. |
