Hey guys, I was at work when my buddy text me the big news about the festival but my excitment quickly turned to worry. I'm pinning all my hopes on a surprise announcement such as Macho or Demolition but even if we don't get those a Big Poppa Pump or US Express would be cool too but what if we don't get any of that?? What's your biggest fear??? Mine is wasted resources on a new line nobody wants similar to the TMNT debacle and one that quickly comes to mind is those horrible TNA rumors. Nobody wants or needs TNA figures of Hogan, Styles or anyone else. One of the Target stockers told me that if a passing customer doesn't see the Red and Yellow or Black and White they don't even know it IS Hogan, so a TNA Hulk Hogan wouldn't sell like Greatest Hits or WM 8 Hogan has. Could you imagine a TNA subset when we could have a Saturday Night Main Event with special packaging instead??? That's what worries me.

Honestly, a TNA-era AJ Styles would be pretty great. Bicycle shorts AJ was a vibe, and I loved the early 2000's era of NWA/TNA X-Division Championship. Kurt Angle had some cool singlet designs in TNA, and was such a corner stone of the company. Would love to have non-Jakks versions of all those TNA championships. Pre-MCMG Alex Shelley and Chris Sabin would be awesome too. Don't forget about the potential of getting an elite Abyss. Before the Hogan regime, Abyss ruled. Perhaps get Monty Brown, Awesome Kong, Victoria/Tara, ODB, Angelina Love and Velvet Sky under some legend deals. I loathed the Beautiful People at the time, but I'd love to have them in my collection. I'm also quite a fan of the TMNT line. Hoping to still find the Rey Mysterio.
My greatest fear? Maybe another Maivia family three-pack.

No fear. No expectations. Let them bring what they bring.
It's better that way.

That they don’t realize Punk figures outsell literally every other figure they can put out. He should be in every single line. Legends, Retros, Elites, Ultimates, Ringside Exclusives, and hell even Coliseum Collection.
I saw a kid shopping with his dad at Target the other day and he was looking for Punk figures and the employee working said that’s the only figure that sells out at every store in the country. All Target employees are briefed before clocking in about what to say when customers ask for more Punks. So the father offers to buy him the Legends Hogan on the shelf, that is on clearance because they stopped selling, and the kid said “No one wants a toy of an old hot dog skinned man dressed like Ronald McDonald” and then he threw it on the ground and stomped on it. The employee had to stop him, so he could take his turn and stomp on it too. Said it was the only way to get rid of all the extra inventory. Crazy stuff.

People on here expecting a Mania/SDCC level presentation instead of what it’s really gonna be and that’s an XL version of what we see normally on a monthly basis. Then we gotta hear bitching and moaning cuz their over exaggerated expectations were not met.

My pal who works at a pizza shop a half-mile down from a toy store said that we should be expecting no less than four Punks in the Coliseum Collection as anchors to move less desirable talent like Big John Studd, Don Muraco, a red and yellow Hogan, etc.

Also, a TNA line would go crazy. Team 3D, LAX, MCMG, Beer Money, AMW, Abyss, Styles, Daniels, Angle, Suicide, Sharkboy, Sabu. The possibilities are wild. Granted, some work for other companies or are retired now but still. Doubt it would ever happen but it would definitely sell.
