Part One of the Joliet, IL Doubleheader:

Joliet, IL
Bell time - 4 pm; Doors Open - 3:30 pm
IWA vs. Elite Pro Challenge - Best of 7
ElitePro: Jason Hades vs. IWA-MS: "Pure Dynamite" Billy Roc
Two of the best up-and coming light heavyweights in the midwest will collide in what should be a fast-paced matchup. Billy Roc has already successfully defended the honor of IWA-MS against ElitePro, being a member of the successful 8-man tag team at the ElitePro Showcase. Jason Hades has broke out in both ElitePro and IWA-MS with his dreaded "Killswitch" finisher and has chosen to represent ElitePro in this special singles challenge.
ElitePro: "The Human Highlight Reel" Acid vs. IWA-MS: Chuck Taylor
Two of the best natural athletes in either promotion, Acid and Chuck Taylor are considered by many to be the faces of their respective promotions. Taylor is fresh off losing the IWA World Heavyweight Championship to Mike Quackenbush and Acid is ready to show the independent wrestling world that he's one of the very best in the midwest. This match above any other could be the "show-stealer" as both men are incredibly athletic and talented.
ElitePro: Dysfunction vs. IWA-MS: Ricochet
Dysfunction will represent ElitePro as their champion in this unusual matchup. One of the premier "hybrid" style wrestlers in the country, Dysfunction will have to find a way to ground one of independent wrestling's best high-flyers.
ElitePro: Kimberly Kash vs. IWA-MS: Mickie Knuckles
This is a rematch from the ElitePro Showcase, which saw outside interference from The Night Breed and J.D. Hughes. At the end of the match, Kimberly Kash walked out with the IWA MidSouth Women's Championship, a belt Knuckles prizes dearly. Many fans expected Kash to fold under the intensity of Mickie, but Kash showed she had fight and stood her ground. But as IWA-MS fans well know, if there's one woman in the world you don't want to cross, it's "The Walking Episode of COPS".
ElitePro: Team Taliban ("Prince" Arya Daivari & Jake O'Neill) vs. IWA-MS: The Iron Saints (Sal & Vito Thomaselli)
The Iron Saints are the proud owners of both the IWA MidSouth and ElitePro Tag Team Championships. But in this Best-of-Seven Challenge, they have decided to side with the promotion where they first broke out as a major independent tag team. They have assured Ian Rotten that they will wrestle the match as they always do, to win. For Team Taliban, this is an enormous opportunity for the two up-and-comers to score the biggest upset either promotion has seen in quite some time.
ElitePro: "The Real Deal" Jay Jensen vs. IWA-MS: Deranged
Two of the toughest men in their respective promotions, Jay Jensen and Deranged could very well be the hardest-hitting of the seven matches in the series. Deranged, known most for his work in deathmatches, has been impressive against so-called "strong style" wrestlers recently. Jensen prides himself on his toughness and this will certainly be a test of just that.
ElitePro: "The Impact Bully" Brandon Thomaselli vs. IWA-MS: "Th Undisputed King of Hardcore" Ian Rotten
Many of the wrestlers in the IWA MidSouth locker room have long made mention of the fact that a young Brandon Thomaselli never got his "initiation" match into IWA with promoter Ian Rotten as so many of them before him had. With Ian retirement from wrestling just about 2 months away, time was running out for Brandon to get was has been coming to him for nearly four years. Not only must Brandon try to survive his first singles match with Ian Rotten, he must do what his brothers have decided NOT to do - defend ElitePro Wrestling.

Joliet, IL
Bell Time: 8 pm; Doors Open at 7:15 pm
Some people have been wondering about the incident with Ed Chuman at the TPI and what our relationship with the NWA means to the Amazing Kong vs. Mickie Knuckles match. Ian called Ed Chuman this week to talk with him about still doing the match. Chuman told us that since we are no longer a part of the NWA, we could NOT have the match. Ian then got phone calls from the buildings in Plainfield, Midlothian and Joliet saying that Ed Chuman had called them and informed them that we no longer had the right to use the NWA insurance policy during our shows. With our current financial situation, we are not capable of carrying our own insurance. Ed Chuman called Ian and basically railroaded us into signing a 3 year contract with the NWA to remain a part of the NWA organization so we could still continue to run shows since the buildings would not let us run without insurance. Not only did we have to sign a three year contract with Chuman, we also had to make some other concessions for the NWA. In return, we get to have insurance and continue running shows AND we get to have the Mickie vs. Kong match at the Strong Style Tournament. We can not do it on this show due to contractual obligations that Kong already has. Enough with the depressing news, now onto most of the lineup for our 11th Anniversary show!
IWA'S 11th Anniversary Show
NWA World Tag Team Title Match
Joey "Magnum" Ryan & Karl "The Machine Gun" Anderson vs. The Iron Saints
The NWA World Tag Team Champions will make a title defense at our anniversary show as the team of Ryan and Anderson defend the straps against the IWA Mid-South and ElitePro Tag Team Champions, Vito & Sal Thomaselli. Can the hometown heroes bring home the World Tag Titles in front of their home crowd?
NWA Midwest X Division Title Match
Jason Dukes vs. Ian Rotten
Ian Rotten is not your typical X Division wrestler but then again neither is the champion Jason Dukes. Ian decided that if he is going to be forced to put Jason Dukes onto IWA shows and actually have him in a match, he might as well make it a one time thing and take the match himself and kill Dukes. What better way to turn the tables on Ed Chuman after being railroaded by him than taking his title and destroying his "little friend" in the process?
Barbed Wire Boards/Barbed Wire Bat Match
Insane Lane vs. Freak Show
These former tag team partners had a falling out in Sellersburg, IN at "Beginning of the End" when Freak Show was trying to bring an earlier retirement to Ian Rotten after Ian dislocated his knee and was left defenseless in the match. Freak Show kept trying to attack Rotten and not let Ian get to his planned retirement in December. Insane Lane had finally had enough of all the hatred and animosity towards him due to his association with Show and refused to continue the beating. "We came here to win, not to injure him and leave him unable to provide for his wife and kids." With that statement and a punch, Six Feet Under was no more and Lane left Freak Show to fend for himself. Now Freak Show wants to "beat some sense" into Insane Lane and show him what a mistake he made. Will Joliet be able to handle this war?
Pinfalls Count Anywhere Grudge Match
Trailer Park Boyz (Josh Abercrombie & Nate Webb) vs. Milwaukee's Best (Dysfunction & Silas Young)
This feud is between Josh Abercrombie and Dysfunction and their partners have gotten involved mostly because Dysfunction cheats and Josh has decided to have his tag team partner watch his back. Will Josh & Nate win one for the Trailer Park or will Dys & Silas pull out the victory and make Milwaukee proud?
Deranged vs. Brandon Thomaselli
This one isn't a qualifying match for the Strong Style Tournament but it definitely could be viewed as a trial match for both of these guys to prove that they belong in the tournament. "The Impact Bully" Brandon Thomaselli broke Vortekz jaw with a forearm and well he prides himself in being a bully. Deranged wants to step into the strong style genre and prove that he can be just as devastating outside of the death match style as he is in it. Who will prove superior in this contest of hard hitting sluggers?
Roderick Strong vs. Eddie Kingston
Eddie Kingston is the defending Strong Style Tournament champion and is coming off an unbelievablely hard fought victory over Chris Hero at the 2007 TPI in a Last Man Standing match. Roderick Strong is undoubtably one of the toughest men in the wrestling business to go along with one of the hardest hitters. This matchup will definitely show whether Eddie Kingston will be a favorite to repeat in the upcoming 2007 SST.
B.J. Whitmer vs. C.J. Otis
B.J. Whitmer is a former Strong Style Tournament Champion, Ted Petty Invitational Champion and IWA Mid-South World Heavyweight Champion. C.J. Otis would love nothing more than to have a resume that impressive. He has earned the monicker "Strong Style Superman" and wants to prove that fact to B.J. on one of the biggest stages in IWA...the 11th Anniversary Show.
6 Way Elimination Match
Devon Moore vs. Jason Hades vs. Justin Dredd vs. Troy Walters vs. Lucky vs. J.C. Ryder
Plus much more to be added.

After a long discussion between the two, Ian decided that he would forgive J.C. and allow him back into the fold. This team immediately becomes one of the favorites no matter who else is added to this tournament.

Delilah Starr - Delilah was the original Queen of the Death Matches in IWA Mid-South as she was the inspiration that led to the current Queen, Mickie Knuckles, deciding to get into professional wrestling.
