So I was reading alittle recap on PWInsider of Jericho's Monday Night Mayhem appearance, and read a bit about who he'd like to face. Infact here's a direct quote.
Now you read right, Jericho has been watching the puros or he like us all has seen a stand out from Japan in recent ROH PPV and DVDs.
Personally I don't think the hype could even match the quality of Naomichi Marufuji vs Chris Jericho with both men at their best.
This leads me to ask, one final time, before Jericho does the inevitable return....
Who would you most like to see Chris Jericho face on the independent, or for that matter, or in Japan?
My second pick after Marufuji would easily be Nigel McGuinness if the match was less strong style and more technically sound.

Jericho versus Chuck Taylor.. "No Child Left Behind" I kind of like this matchup. Taylor has a little Jericho in him. But I would go with Jericho/Hero. |

El Generico vs Chris Jericho in a fast paced match. The announcers would have to be on the top of their game to get the names right.

Nigel isn't even "strong style" as you say. Are you sure you know what Strong Style is? Ugh, talk about bad wording... My original post was basically me saying, I'd love a Jericho-Nigel match. But only if Nigel would revisit his chain wrestling and essentially not go lariat crazy. I want him to actually make good on what could be one of the best technical wrestlers he's never faced and probably never would again. I'd just wanna see the match lay out be more a technical frenzy. Maybe along the lines of his matches with Aries and Shelley. Not Nigel hitting a session of Lariats in between spots which really makes him sound bad but I hope you get what I'm saying. |

If Jericho were to work a few ROH guys I would like to see him against would be Danielson, Hero & Generico. If he were to work some TNA guys I'd like to see him against Joe, AJ, Homicide, Low Ki, Lethal & Shelley.

I do like the Jericho/Generico match idea...plus the name rolls off the tongue. Also I think Jericho vs. Claudio has all kinds of awesomeness written on it
