~Attendance looks to be 150-200.
1) Chris Hero defeats Human Tornado with a Hero's Welcome and the Hangman's Clutch for the submission.
~After the match Claudio ran out and jumped Hero. Claudio cut a promo, and Roderick is out for their match.
2) Roderick Strong defeats Claudio Castagnoli with a Gibson Driver to retain the FIP World Championship.
3) Adam Pearce defeated Karl Anderson with a piledriver. After the match Delirious ran out and bites Hagadorn's face tearing it open. Another friend at the show told me the crowd was really annoying trying to get themselves over in this one.
4) Brent Albright defeats Delirious with a half nelson suplex in a really solid match.
5) Davey Richards & Rocky Romero defeat TJ Perkins and Tony Kozina via submission when Perkins tapped to Davey.
~The Age Of The Fall are out. They challenge the NRC and they accept!
6) Jimmy Jacobs & Necro Butcher defeat Davey Richards and Rocky Romero in a wild brawl when Davey gets tigerdrivered through two chairs and Jacobs locks on his guillotine choke.
7) Bryan Danielson defeats Austin Aries with a small package to even their best of 3 series up at 1 apiece.
8) Nigel McGuinness defeats Jay Briscoe with the Tower of London on the ring apron to retain the ROH World Championship. After the match all hell breaks loose!
~Bryan Danielson hits the ring and brawls with Nigel. Age of the Fall run in to attack Jay Briscoe. Mark hits the ring to help Jay but is beaten down as well. The No Remorse Corp hits the ring and clears out the Age of the Fall. THEN Aries hits the ring and takes out the NRC. He nails a plancha to the outside on everyone. HUGE BRAWL insuing. Jay Briscoe and Davey Richards also end up flying outside of the ring on everyone. Chris Hero then hits the ring to taunt everyone, and Claudio heads out and floors him with the Riccola Bomb. Claudio addresses the crowd on the mic, and the show ends!
It looks like an ok show but I probably wont pick it up.

in' douche bags. Sorry for my crude response, but I've had a long day. The fact the limited amount of mans are trying to get themselves over makes me hope ROH becomes big and never travels the West Coast. I dunno, it's a long story behind my response. ROH's goal in my eyes was never just debut in Cali'. They wanted to impress the legends aswell as a different variety of fans. The inevitable has really worked against them for this event.

For what it's worth. matches 6-8 sound christly. haha, seriously, while I like the Vulture Squad and what they do. NRC vs AOTF is the two bad ass stables going at it and I love Strong's work, but the right guys in both groups were booked for that mathc. Those sell the DVD if I ever consider to get it.

I am getting both this and the Vegas show, but I buy every ROH show so that doesn't say too much.

It sounds like a decent show but not one I'm gonna bother to purchase.

I am getting both this and the Vegas show, but I buy every ROH show so that doesn't say too much. It says to me, if you get any of them for free, send me one. I only really follow ROH, and I'm not even sure if I could force myself to get every one. They're worth it, but it's costly too. No matter how you budget it. But yeah, if you're able to afford that luxery, do me a favor and send one my way. I'm worthy and appreciative.

Wow, I just noticed that Attendance was only 150-200. I guess what will cover up any people trying to defend the fact that ROH just didn't draw on Friday night because of the age limit.

Are you aware of how bad the Wrestlefanfest did? In short, the vendors came over prepared, wrestler's were frustrated... the MMA event was dropped and the fighters were not paid. It was a cluster , and ROH can't be blamed when MMA couldn't sell but around 100 tickets. I'd be surprised to hear if the overall event had a decent attendance record.

Both shows sound ok. I'll probably just get SOTF, as I NEED to see Hero people up... After this weekend, don't look for ROH on the West Coast for a long time...if ever again.

Yeah, I heard all about the fanfest failing but that's no surprise when you're trying to book guys like Stone Cold, Golberg, Hall, Nash & Piper among others. The people running it obviously had no idea what they were doing. I however thought that ROH would be the one bright side of things. I was expecting ROH to draw more than they did. I know they aren't established there but with ROH being the #3 promotion in the states I was expecting attendance to be at least 400-500. It's not exactly cheap to fly everyone all the way out there so I'm sure this didn't help ROH at all. I don't expect them to be back on the West Coast for a LONG time if ever again because overall the whole event was a failure. Hopefully ROH is smart enough(which I think they are) to continue just doing shows on the East Coast and Midwest with the tours to the UK and Japan every once and awhile. Seeing as ROH has been so successful as of late it's a shame to see them bomb on the West Coast.

I say they had success in Vegas, but might have had more with out the -21 ban. Not saying that Vegas would have kids just looking for a wrestling show, but you never know how restrictions can impact something overall.
That said, I 100% blame the overall convention. If they didn't have such a bad kick-off, people may have actually been impressed with the way the convention was put together and bought tickets on the spot but those who bought more than likely didn't think "hey this place sucks, let me try and snag front row seats."
Ugh. It was doomed the first moment reports came in. Sucks that ROH could have broke their back with no reward. Either because of the money made from ticket sales or the lack of exposure to the greats they probably hoped would check the show out.

I'm probably passing on both of these shows. Maybe I'll consider SOTF if it goes to a $10 sale. Even though this weekend didnt work out at all for ROH, I'm glad these shows still took place. The "what if" questions should be over with as to how ROH would fare out west.

The "what if" questions should be over with as to how ROH would fare out west. You guys really feel so? I mean don't call me thick, I just think each had minor to major flaws, but not in the line of not having a fan-base. Don't get me wrong, I'm not saying if Vegas lifted the 21+ or Wrestlefanfest wasn't a cluster , that they'd draw 300. They got fans that wanted to see the event, or get themselves over.

1) Chris Hero defeats Human Tornado -I'm really excited to see this match mainly just being able to finally see Tornado in an ROH ring.
2) Roderick Strong defeats Claudio Castagnoli -This sounds like a good match to me, nothing amazing though.
3) Adam Pearce defeated Karl Anderson -I can't stand Pearce so I'm not looking forward to this one, and I don't know much about Karl Anderson.
4) Brent Albright defeats Delirious -While I'm not that big of a Albright mark I'm a huge Delirious mark and since it's claimed to be a "Great match" I guess I'll give this one a shot.
5) Davey Richards & Rocky Romero defeat TJ Perkins and Tony Kozina -This should be awesome, I'm glad a couple of PWG guys came over to do a show for ROH cause I love me some TJ.
6) Jimmy Jacobs & Necro Butcher defeat Davey Richards and Rocky Romero -This ought to be a sick stiff match all around, I'm happy to see that AOTF went over.
7) Bryan Danielson defeats Austin Aries -This should be awesome from start-to-finish.
8) Nigel McGuinness defeats Jay Briscoe -Kinda weird to see Nigel's first title defense being against Jay but he definitally deserves the title shot so I hope this turns out pretty good.

By the way, this is Jay Briscoe's second title shot this year. When's Mark Briscoe gonna get one?
