- CHIKARA “The Sordid Perils of Everyday Existence”
November 17th 2007 - American Legion Hall, Hellertown, PA
a. Pre-show: Lance Steel def. Retail Dragon by submission with the Boston Crab.
1. Soldier Ant (or SOULJA ANT) def. Shayne Hawke by pinfall with the TKO. Way better than expected, both guys were really on point tonight. Hawke stated that he hated Soldier Ant’s theme music.
2. Shane Storm def. Hydra by pinfall when UltraMantis Black hurt his own minion by burning a leaf in Hydra’s face. Odd ending, obviously, could use a promo to explain it on the DVD. Really good stuff. Hydra’s really coming into his own at working through the wacky gimmick.
3. The Osirian Portal [0] (Amasis & Ophidian) def. Lince Dorado & El Pantera [3] by pinfall when Ophidian pinned Lince after a distraction from Mitch Ryder. Amasis vs. Lince is money, as is Ryder and Hero on commentary. Mucha Lucha lose all of their points!
4. Chuck Taylor def. Passion Hasegawa by pinfall with the Awful Waffle. Passion had a very badly welted chest after last night. Much dancing from Passion, Chuck, and the great boogie-down stylings of referee PJ Drummond. Passion’s chest was once again the target of much abuse. Fun match, Passion seems like a guy that’ll really stand out in a trios match, so tomorrow will be his day.
5. Claudio Castagnoli def. MIYAWAKI by pinfall with the Ricola Bomb. Awesome match, easily main event quality. Two minute standing ovation.
6. Team F.I.S.T. (Icarus & Gran Akuma), Mitch Ryder & Robbie Ellis def. Mike Quackenbush, Tim Donst & The Super Smash Brothers (Player Uno & Stupefied) by pinfall when Ryder pinned Uno in a zany ending with wrestlers all over the venue. Good stuff, Stupefied is gonna fit right in here.
7. Young Lions Cup: Helios (c) def. Fire Ant (second defence) by pinfall to retain with the standing shooting star press. Not much special but still cool.
8. Máscara contra Cabellera: Chris Hero def. Equinox by submission when he countered the CHIKARA Special to one of his own. Went a little too long, awesome ending though. Equinox was crying after the match. He was unmasked and revealed as not only a gringo, but a liar, a fraud and someone that wasn’t good enough to make it into Chikara without lying. Fantastic promo at the end. The rest of the masked technicos walked out on stage and sent him packing, ashamed of such a liar.
9. Los Campeonatos de Parejas: Incoherence (c) (Hallowicked & Delirious) def. Incoherencito/Cheech & Cloudy [3] (first defence) 2 falls to 1 to retain.
a) Hallowicked pinned Hallowickedcito after a body slam by the diminutive ‘cito gone wrong.
b) Cheech pinned Delirious with Go 2 Cheech after a chase backstage that saw Incoherencito leave and Cheech & Cloudy enter.
c) Hallowicked won the match with the Graveyard Smash to end one of the best third falls.

- CHIKARA gChapter 11
November 18th 2007 - New Alhambra Arena, Philadelphia, PA
Equinox walked past the line before the show wearing his gear, a towel, and looking rather homeless. Sucks to be him. Nearly a full house for the show. Jigsaw was announced as being out, Trik Davis will replace him.
1. Gran Akuma, Icarus & Chuck Taylor def. Tim Donst & Los Ice Creams (El Hijo del Ice Cream & Ice Cream, Jr.) by submission when Donst accidentally bumped into one of the Ice Creams, so the dairy dudes left him to fend for himself. Icarus then tapped him out to the CHIKARA Special, so there must be a traitor in the tecnico ranks! Ice Creams hit all of Chuckfs spots on him which everyone loved.
2. Robbie Ellis def. Hydra by pinfall in 3 minutes with a BURNING HAMMER in a match that made everyone love life. A doozy!
3. The Colony (Worker Ant, Fire Ant & Soldier Ant) def. Shane Storm & The Super Smash Brothers (Player Uno & Stupefied) by pinfall when Fire pinned Stupefied. Equinox looks on angered and homeless while the masked tecnicos celebrate a good match. The SSB need to be back every month.
4. FSM PRESENTS: ICWICWA Tex-Arkana Television Title Match: Bryan Alvarez def. Larry Sweeney (c) by pinfall to win the title following the superkick. Bryan was not liked. ICWICWA referee Buddy Lee Brooks was in the house. Before the match, Sweeney cut a promo and sang the ICWICWA theme song, gAchy Breaky Hearth. Sweeney had Bryan beaten but the ref refused to count 3 after earlier dissension. There was a bit of a staredown between Bryan and Wiggly for the two of you who care. Bryan sadly did not superkick the man.
5. Delirious, Cheech & Cloudy def. MIYAWAKI, Passion Hasegawa & El Pantera by pinfall when Delirious used the Chemical Imbalance II on Hasegawa. Fun trios match. Tons of awesome, wacky high flying as expected. Passion had his best showing here.
6. Helios, Trik Davis & Mike Quackenbush def. Hawke Like An Egyptian (Shayne Hawke, Amasis & Ophidian) (and yes, they were announced by that name) by pinfall when Helios used a twisting moonsault on Amasis. I know itfs repetitive, but yet another wacky, highspot-filled trios match with a crazy ending. Fun. Trik Davis looked really good.
7. Falls Count Anywhere: Eddie Kingston def. Hallowicked by pinfall with the spinning backfist, the backfist to the future! A pretty crazy match for Chikara standards. Brutal, stiff work by both men. They spilled out into the crowd a bit. Great stuff.
8. Mascara contra Caballera: Lince Dorado def. Mitch Ryder. Lince was seconded by El Pantera, Mitch was accompanied by Shayne Hawke and Larry Sweeney. Lince is a god amongst the young Hispanic children in the audience. Ryder is so ridiculously awesome that itfs not even funny. Ryderfs seconds started slipping an international object around amongst one another. After Bryce was knocked out, Mitch fouled Lince with a kick to the groin, and the tecnicos and rudos surrounded the ring to support their men. Lince won but was seriously hurt.
Lincefs been stretchered out. He wasnft moving his limbs. I assume it was his family that ran to the back, in tears, so therefs no chance this is a work. Mitch is now being shaved, but I donft think thatfs at all important right now. The screams of his family can be heard from backstage, and Ifm scared as hell right now.
The rest of the show was cancelled due to the injury to Lince, apparently from a 450 that resulted in him landing on his neck. Quack came out and said he was sitting up and was responsive, so therefs some good news. A not-so-fun ending to another year of CHIKARA.
