Charlotte, NC (May 21, 2007) – The National Wrestling Alliance® is pleased to announce the following participants and locations and the first round match ups for “Reclaiming the Glory: The NWA™ World Heavyweight Championship Tournament presented by Big Vision Entertainment.” The tournament will take place at events across North America and begins Saturday June 2, 2007 from three (3) locations.

From all acounts, Damien Wayne is someone that could be a star in ROH by this time next year. I think it's a great tournament in that it's not the "uber indie star" names that dominate, rather just a couple of them. The rest actually work NWA territories.

Yes, it is to be released in Sept-Dec if I am not mistaken..

You are mistaken. The NWA Championship tournament DVD will be released through Big Vision in January of 2008.

This entire tournament is underwhelming, the NWA is truly dead once again.

It is the worst kept secret in wrestling the American Dragon is gonna win, and he is by far the best suited for the position. But the 2007 version of the NWA and the championship = CRAP.

They went from TV every week and ppv to indy wrestlers. If Dragon wins I wonder if ROH will get the benefit of having him as champion , but it would be smart for them not even to acknowledge them as ROH is far superior to NWA right now.
