There have been rumors about Sports Plus closing down for a while. I didn't read anything on the board with ROH officials confirming it though, so I don't know about that yet. If they do find a new venue, your tickets are fine for that place, or you can probably get a refund.

You might not be able to use your tickets to the new venue. It depends. The numerous times it has happened to Boston, it seems to be split. Sometimes it's good at the new venue or you can only get a refund.
I heard about this on the ROH forum. Someone was saying a worker at the venue told them it was closing down. I hope for the sake of the fans (no matter how dead the crowd can be) that they confirm this show as happening or not ASAP.

If it's the same date, or even a similar date, I can't see them not taking the tickets. However, if the show is out-right cancelled the tickets might not be good for wherever the new venue is. Like when the 3/11/06 Woodbridge show was changed to the ECW Arena, the ticket I had was good at East Windsor in June, when the show was rescheduled. It might just be a case like that.

Sports Plus is closing June 30. The new venue will be announced soon, but it will remain in Long Island. All tickets will be honored at the new venue.

Is it true that place had an indoor roller coaster? Sucks as the venue sounded good, the audience just was hit or miss. But that's obviously not the reason LI is out at the moment, I think I remember hearing a possible alternative venue. But can't remember the name, Deer something....

Deer Park is one possible location. ROH should be commenting on the new venue next week after the midwest double shot.

Deer Park was infact the one in consideration, though I don't know if talks have began. It's hardly a pass and go as it's been used for wrestling shows in the past so not a big adjustment other than the moving game.
