I'm very bored right now. I'm looking over past IWA results and just thinking about how the company could be run better. Nothing against Ian, Fannin, Dave Prazak (in the past) and Chris Hero, but things sometimes don't make sense or have to start and stop for all kinds of reasons.
This isn't a sim as much as a retelling of history, as I think I would've had it go down. The schedule will be picked up after the 2004 TPI and I'll post match results and reasons for things.
So look for it. If you like my fantasy booking, you'll like this stuff.
IWA-MS Roster, as of 9/18/04: IWA-MS World Champion: Arik Cannon IWA-MS Tag Team Champions: The Wildcards (Eddie Kingston & Blackjack Marciano) IWA-MS Light-Heavyweight Champion: Jimmy Jacobs NWA Midwest/IWA-MS Women's Champion: Mercedes Martinez NWA Midwest X Division Champion: Matt Sydal
Davey Andrews B-Boy J.C. Bailey Ryan Boz Brad Bradley Colt Cabana Chris Candido Claudio Castagnoli Chad Collyer Danny Daniels Trik Davis Delirious Chris Hero Jimmy Jacobs Eddie Kingston Nigel McGuinness Blackjack Marciano Necro Butcher Mad Man Pondo C.M. Punk Ian Rotten Chris Sabin Alex Shelley Ace Steel Steve Stone A.J. Styles Larry Sweeney Nate Webb B.J. Whitmer Petey Williams Mark Wolf
Upcoming Schedule: 10/22/04- Lafayette, IN (2004 Revolution: Strong Style Tournament) 10/23/04- Highland, IN (8th Anniversary Show) 11/19/04- Bloomington (2004: An IWA Freak-a-Thon) 11/20/04- Highland, IN 11/27/04- Valparaiso, IN (Bloodfeast 2004) 12/12/04- Highland, IN 12/18/04- Noblesville, IN 12/19/04- Rensselaer, IN

THE STORY SO FAR...
At the end of the 2004 TPI, considered by many to be the greatest weekend in wrestling history, A.J. Styles was standing atop the IWA ladder. He ran the field and took out the other twenty-three participants to win the TPI. However, it was tainted by two things: not winning the World title from Arik Cannon and Petey Williams' Canadian Destroyer.
At the same time, the feud between Ian Rotten and Jim Fannin hit a powder keg as Fannin brought in former ECW/WWE star Chris Candido to be apart of the Family. Ian countered this by announcing he would be taking on Candido & former partner Steve Stone at the 8th Anniversary Show with his idol..."The American Dream" Dusty Rhodes!
Delirious and Jimmy Jacobs engaged in a classic Ladder Match on Night 1 of the TPI where Jacobs took back the IWA-MS Light-Heavyweight title. Now, the feud is going to come to an end.
The Wildcards are your new Tag Team Champions, beating Bradley & Boz in a three way tag match at Night 2 (also featuring Tank & Iceberg).
The Strong Style Tournament field is set with: Samoa Joe, Homicide, B-Boy, Super Dragon, B.J. Whitmer, Roderick Strong, Eddie Kingston and Austin Aries...brackets are coming.
2004 Revolution: Strong Style Tournament: October 22, 2004 from Lafayette, IN

Whitmer, Chris Candido & Steve Stone) w/ Jim Fannin, Generation Next (Austin Aries & Roderick Strong), The Strong Style Thugs (Homicide & B-Boy), Chris Sabin, J.C. Bailey, Super Dragon, Petey Williams, Nigel McGuinness, Claudio Castagnoli, Matt Sydal, Danny Daniels and Davey Andrews
8th Anniversary Show: October 23, 2004 from Highland, IN[/u]

Styles, C.M. Punk, The Fannin Family (B.J. Whitmer, Chris Candido & Steve Stone) w/ Jim Fannin, Generation Next (Austin Aries & Roderick Strong), The Strong Style Thugs (Homicide & B-Boy), Chris Sabin, J.C. Changes: I cancelled the 10/7, 10/20 and 10/21 shows. No need to be killing ourselves when a doubleshot to highlight the Strong Style Tournament and the 8th birthday of IWA is better. From there, I also trimmed down the talent rosters for the doubleshot to best maximize the talent.
The major change happened with the cancellation of the 10/21 show. This was the show that Arik Cannon broke his collarbone on. Now, he's going to get to defend the title like he was supposed to.

Results:
NOTES: - I kept the final SST booking the same, Joe over B-Boy. I mixed up the quarterfinals to create a couple of matchups I thought would work. Nigel turned on Daniels & Sydal (and IWA) to join Fannin. In real IWA, Nigel had turned on Chris Hero in the summer and their blowoff match happened on the 10/7 show I cancelled. So I just re-wrote things to make it that Nigel had only turned on Hero and was still an IWA guy going into the SST. Because of this, Punk challenged him on commentary to a match in Highland. Punk would represent IWA against Nigel, for Fannin.
Also signed to the 8th Anniversary Show is a tag team match that will see two teams that are friendstaking on each other as Austin Aries & Roderick Strong team to take on Alex Shelley & Petey Williams.
And Samoa Joe, Nate Webb and Claudio Castagnoli will wrestle a three way for a World title shot.
8th Anniversary Show: October 23, 2004 from Highland, IN[/u] IWA-MS World Championship Match: Arik Cannon vs. A.J. Styles
Tag Team War: The Fannin Family (Chris Candido & Steve Stone) with Jim Fannin vs. Ian Rotten & Dusty Rhodes
IWA-MS Tag Team Championship Match: The Wildcards (Eddie Kingston & Blackjack Marciano) vs. The Strong Style Thugs (Homicide & B-Boy)
NWA Midwest/IWA-MS Women's Championship Match: Mercedes Martinez vs. Mickie Knuckles
Grudge Match: Danny Daniels vs. B.J. Whitmer
Grudge Match #2: C.M. Punk vs. Nigel McGuinness w/ Jim Fannin
Tag Team Challenge Match: Generation Next (Austin Aries & Roderick Strong) vs. Alex Shelley & Petey Williams
Three Way Dance (winner gets World title shot): Samoa Joe vs. Claudio Castagnoli vs. Nate Webb
Four Way High Flying Match: Matt Sydal vs. Jimmy Jacobs vs. J.C. Bailey vs. Chris Sabin

Obviously not trying to get on your case, but isn't there another board for this. Aside from stating the obvious, explain to me what exactly your doing. Are you rewriting the way certain things went down?
