Man it's such a shame the KENTA/Ishimori VS Marvin/Suzuki 30 min. draw wasn't taped.

So how many of the matches will we get to see? and while I now know where to find them, any way somebody can keep me up with links to which matches are up? I've been wanting to see more Ricky Marvin, and really this NTV Cup is a good thing altogether.

NOAH, 7/1/07 (NTV/G+) Tokyo Differ Ariake
5. NTV Cup: Bryan Danielson & Davey Richards vs. Rocky Romero & Atsushi Aoki 6. NTV Cup: Naomichi Marufuji & Kota Iifushi vs. Jay Briscoe & Mark Briscoe
NOAH, 7/15/07 (NTV/G+) Tokyo Nippon Budokan
1. NTV Cup: KENTA & Taiji Ishimori vs. Naomichi Marufuji & Kota Iifushi 2. NTV Cup: Kotaro Suzuki & Ricky Marvin vs. Jay Briscoe & Mark Briscoe
These are the only NTV matches that are going to be availible. I'm also pissed 7/11 isn't getting taped, because the main event is Takayama/Marufuji/Suguira VS McGuiness/Danielson/Richards... that's awesome.
There's a chance NOAH might have a TV special with all of the NTV matches, but I wouldn't count on it.

There's a couple things I do like, and some I don't, about this whole thing. Now, Maru is a formed GHC Heavyweight champ, and KENTA is going to be competing in the heavyweight division in the future too. So, what is giving either of them the win for this league going to do? Then, Marvin & Suzuki are already the Jr. Tag champs. So what is it going to do for them if they win? That leaves it down to the Briscoes, Danielson & Davey, and Romero & Aoki to guys that could really benefit from a win. Danielson and Davey are more likely than not going to be the whipping boys for this...and Romero is teaming with a rookie. THEN, the Briscoes already won the GHC Jr. Tag belts. But I guess that is what makes this more exciting, that there is NO ONE that NEEDS to win it. With that being said, the team of Maru and Iifushi is so ing awesome, and they look so alike, I want them to win. Badly. Oh, and did anyone see Richards & Danielson vs. Romer & Aoki yet? It's available, and I just didn't acquire it yet. I need to see how Richards looks in NOAH. OH...check this out too: wfigs.proboards48.com/index.cgi?board=wrestlingsims&action=display&thread=1182540463

How the hell can this whole thing not be taped? Maybe because we're the foreigners & we think this tournment is huge, do they really think its not that big of a deal or something? It doesnt make sense to me.

You would think being called the NTV cup, that the matches would at least be taped for later airing on NTV.

It doesnt make sense to me. It's just the way Japanese wrestling operates. Tours last a single month, and encompass 15-20 shows, so it would be impossible for them to tape/distribute/air all of those shows. Instead, in NOAH's case, they usually have live shows for the start of the tour (usually Korakuen Hall) and the end of the tour (usually Budokan Hall), with maybe one other big show in between. Because of the fact that most of the NTV League matches are in the middle of the tour, there's not that good of a chance of them airing.

You answer totally makes sense, but I still cant see why they wouldnt tape a show, even if its just for company purposes & never ment to go on TV. Imagine them having the greatest match in NOAH history & no one ever sees it. Hell, just get a fan cam going or something. Anything.

Well, the shows in the middle usually feature no singles matches, and are run more or less like house shows. So the chance of the greatest match ever happening on one is very slim.

Realistically, I think they do videotape a lot of their events, they just don't put it on TV.

What's the chance that the Briscoes can come in second?
