I think "Christly" fits prefectly. Really great show, I think. Claudio/Generico was excellent, but my MOTN was the eight-man tag. Just awesome.
The whole promo where Nigel and Dragon were picking their teams was hilarious.

Sounds like a very good show. Would love to see Team Nigel vs. Team Danielson. Also the last Race to the Top match sounds good.

It was a really good show but I feel it could of been a little better but at the same time feel it could of been worse. I think the 8 man was good but not great. It was a fun match but it coming down to 3 on 1 was kinda stupid. Also they are fighting for money but how come they never even made us try to think they were. They didn't come out with a bag, a suitcase, nothing. It might be nit picking but I think it kinda made the match afterwords look pointless and just a way to throw everyone on the card. I don't know how I feel about Claudio winning(I would of rather see Hero, Richards or Evans) but Claudio vs Generico was a ing phenomenal match that is worth picking the DVD up for alone. So many false finishes, damn what a match. I think I would of enjoyed the show a lot more if the building had AC and I didn't have to smell the body oder of the obese ROH fan base every time one walked by. Overall though a good show that will be even better on the DVD because you won't have to smell the disgusting fat people.

Disgusting, smelly, fat ROH fans has become a big problem over these last two days.

Its what I least look forward to, I would never bring a hot chick I know who has never seen ROH there because 94% of these people don't shower and wear the same ROH logo shirt for weeks...
Anyway, show sounds good, glad Claudio won and the 8 man sounds fantastic.

I was hoping Hero would win, but Claudio was my second choice. I'll be getting this DVD for sure.

Why is Hero being buried?

If losing to Generico means being buried, than why did Davey Richards get buried too? I'm still a bit exhausted, the show was by far the best top to bottom I've seen live. I don't think I can fully elaborate, everything was spot on. I know I speak so highly of Edison, mainly due to that being where and when I see ROH. But I honestly can't find any negatives in this show. Even the main event left me like, meh, but they did an awesome match considering all they had to follow. But the one thing I'm not completely sure on is if the winner was suppose to get a title shot(that's why I'd lean more towards Double C not winning it) But yeah, I enjoyed the show so I'll save the rant for a blog. However I will say this. I Finally Got to Meet and talk to Nigel McGuinness, I was 0-2 or 0-3, but I managed to catch him when I ran in for tickets. Great guy, and I felt so cheated knowing my ma had talked to him on various occasions since last august. However, leave it for family to unintenionally top you, my ma used the ladies room and talked with some of the female wrestlers. Including relaying back to me that she was talking to a blonde with a *insert your own term* ass, she had a thong on, damnit! I meet Nigel, and my ma sees Alicia in a thong.... in person. Anyways, thumbs up for sure. Everybody, not just myself, enjoyed it that went with me.

Well I thought last night was really really good. All the matches were good I thought. I'm surprised Generico made it all the way to finals. I was sure Hero woulda moved on. I don't know about all of you, but I wasn't liking any of Claudio's tights. I prefer most of his old ones to these new velvet ones. The final match between Generico/Claudio was spectacular. I loved all the false finishes. I didn't expect Generico to kick out of the off the top Alpamare Waterslide. But I was glad Claudio won. Overall a pretty fun night out. Worst thing was no AC and I was surrounded by huge people, so it was hard to see/breathe.

I think Claudio can get a good run as champ. I'd love to see either him or Hero, but by the way it looks, Hero is far behind.
I cant imagine how good Claudio vs. Generico must've been.

Um, yes, losing to El Generico is being buried, so I really don't no where you were going with that; especially when the wrestler in discussion is one of the most popular on the indy scene, Chris Hero. El Generico, Delirious, Matt Sydal etc. are guys ROH is clearly never going to let win the title, so any loss to them comes off as a burial when you're somebody who could easily be a champion anywhere.

The win for Claudio was to make him look a creditable opponent Morishima. We all know that Claudio has zero chance of beating Morishima though.

I obviously mistook where you were going with that. Now as for the three you mentioned, the idea is the tourney was designed, to give a change in the title picture. I mean Claudio is an established wrestler, but he's somewhat like an uncrowned pure champion, he's a great athlete but not the ideal choice for World Champion. I think the tourney succeeded in having two guys right now that work hard, get far and show passion for a title they are far from contention for. Hense the term, "Climb to the Top." In a nutshell though, how can you really know Generico? He's an underdog babyface? yes. But he's also currently holding the Pro Wrestling Guerrilla World title, and he's had some of his best matches recently in that company. So yeah, I really dunno how to respond as you're acting like Generico's win was anything more than an upset or shocker. I won't go to task because if you think Hero should have won that. Yes, a popular choice. You're a bit lost because Hero, at least to most fan's, is already at world title level.

Oh you people...you'd hate some of the IWA fans in Plainfield from what I can gather.
Besides, let's face it. Most of the venues that indie companies run try and cram twenty overweight people in a row. Even if you shower, you'll still sweat. It's life.
This tournament sounded AMAZING!
