these chat threads are so damn restricted, as long as the nonesense is kept in one thread i dont see how it negatively impacts the board as a whole. if anything it makes it more fun, and a little bit relaxed.

for real, the chat thread is like the little community for the Indy board people.. half of which are gone now, but nonetheless.. I get that the banter board exists for spam.. but there are certain people who post in certain sections of the board and they like to socialize with others that post there, and there is a certain community of likeminded people who post in the Indy board, so when we want to post about something that is bugging us or a cool date we went on or something, we post it here because we know everyone who comes to the board. Most of the time, this works out just fine, and it creates a sense of community (yeah, I know, that's the third time I said it). And sometimes we chat about indy stuff inbetween, and sometimes we talk about WWE stuff in between because it is good to talk about that with people who come from an indy background rather than the kids on the WWE boards. But now that would be off topic, and that just doesn't make sense to me.
Anyways, end of rant, I know I'm wasting my "breath."
On topic.. where do you guys think Jimmy Rave is going to go from here?

Booker T's PWA is coming at the end of the month. I think the main event is AJ Styles/Joey Matthews. Should be interesting, I guess. I've always wanted to meet AJ, and I guess Matthews is an added bonus. Has anyone met AJ before? If so, what were your experiences?

I think we still can as long as we add a little something about indy wrestling at the end. For instance.....my fantasy football draft was awesome last night. I had the #2 overall pick and some guy traded me his the #11 first round pick and his 2nd and third round picks....just to move to #2. I took it! My team is just sick! BTW....ROH's next show is this Sat. in Philly. See how it works? |
