Streets in downtown Wheeling, WV. It is only blocks away from the

HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPIONSHIP MATCH
"AERIEL ICON" JUSTIN IDOL
defends the championship against
"BREADMAN" DAN SANDWICH[/i]
No one expected Justin Idol to take advantage of his injured
tag team partner in order to become the BDW Heavyweight Champion for a
second time. However, a sadistic side of Idol came out on July 8th
when he took the prone body of an injured Jason Gory and drove his
head into the mat in order to gain the final elimination in the
four-way elimination match. BDW Commissioner Johnny Matthews has
accomplished his goal of ending the title reign of Chris Kole, but the
cost may have been the end of one of the most popular tag teams in BDW
history.
Dan Sandwich has become one of the most popular wrestlers
competing in BDW. After winning a tournament in May to become the top
contender to the title, the "Breadman" is finally getting his shot at
the region's most prestigious championship. This is the first time
these two competitors have squared off in one-on-one competition in a
BDW ring. Will Sandwich finally get his hands on a singles
championship in BDW, or will the ruthlessness that led to Idol winning
the championship allow him to retain the championship?
DIAMOND DIVISION CHAMPIONSHIP MATCH
"MASOCHIST" JASON GORY DEFENDS THE CHAMPIONSHIP
The most prolific champion in the history of the Diamond
Division Championship has only one thing on his mind: Getting revenge
on Justin Idol. However, Idol is not defending the championship
against his former tag team partner Jason Gory. Will Gory have the
focus to walk away with his championship for the seventh time on
Sunday, or is he prime for an upset. Who will commissioner Johnny
Matthews line up to challenge Gory for the most action packed
championship in the Ohio Valley?
TAG TEAM CHAMPIONSHIP MATCH?
Tag Team competition is heating up in BDW, with a number of
teams gunning for the new champions: Jake Garrett & Devin Devine.
Garrett's persistence finally paid off as the Tennessee twosome
defeated Affirmative Action's Notorious MAV & Luis Diamante for the
championship. With the belts now around their waists, Devine &
Garrett face a rogue's gallery of challengers: The Gambino's have had
their eyes set on regaining tag team gold since their return to BDW.
Syko Sean & Apollyon of the Straight Jacket Mafia have been making
waves and winning championships on the independent circuit, and are
looking to add another tag team championship to their list of
accomplishments. Affirmative Action is going to be looking to regain
the championship that they just lost.
But, Devin Devine was recently put on the shelf with a number
of injuries after a very serious automobile crash. Although Devine
has returned to limited action, will he be recovered enough by
September 9th to defend the championship? Will Devine & Garrett be
wrestling at 100%?
Wrestlers already confirmed to appear on the card include
Wheeling's own Dash Bennett, The Straight Jacket Mafia, "Soviet
Shooter" Nikita Allanov, Blue Dragon, the Gambino Brothers, and more.
