I've seen many clips from previous DVDs of matches with Jacobs & Whitmer. I am curious to know which events had their more intense matches. I saw that they had a cage match as well that looked pretty good.
Any help would be appreciated. Also, any suggestions on ROH DVDs with hardcore type matches on them would be cool too.

I liked their matches at Finale, Battle of the Icons, and Dethroned. The cage match imo, was the best match they had.

The cage match is really good, get the DVD with that, it's impressive. The rest of the show is good too, it's worth it.

Well the FYF Philly show had a decent street fight, and the FYF Finale had a very good falls count anywhere match between Whitmer and Jacobs.
As for just any hardcore type matches in particular, one of my favs is Better Than Our Best between Cabana and Homicde.

I'd definitly get Supercard Of Honor II with the cage match. It's a great show overrall and much better than the first Supercard Of Honor which I still think is highly overrated.
As far as hardcore DVD's, Ring Of Homicide has a very good match between Homicide & Necro Butcher. It's actually my favorite match out of the whole ROH/CZW feud. Another good one when it comes out would be DBD V night 2. I wasn't there but the Resilience/NRC and Steenerico/Briscoes matches were both pretty hardcore.

For Whitmer/Jacobs, Supercard of Honor II IMO was their best match up. I'm not big on the hardcore style in ROH, but if you ask many of their fans they'll say Death Before Dishonor 4 for the CZW/ROH cage of death.
