Why?
Because it's still going to be a TAPED show. It's the main reason why I've skipped Impact in its present form and it'll probably be why this new two-hour installment won't be appointment viewing for me, either.
Say what you will about Raw, but, no matter how crappy the actual show is, the fact that it's live gives it an edgy feel. You never know what might happen, who might show up, etc. The fact that Impact is taped so far in advance makes it 1) hard to avoid spoilers online and 2) just gives off a very stale vibe during the actual program.
Does anyone else agree?

I got used to it with Smackdown. I'll do the same with Impact.

How far in advance will Impact actually be taped once the go to 2 hours? I'd have thought they'll tape 1 episode a week, if that's the case then you'd only have to avoid spoilers for 3 days which is easily done

Impact is still going to be awful. 'Cause you know, the bad booking and awful storylines will continue.

Impact is still going to be awful. 'Cause you know, the bad booking and awful storylines will continue. It's officially, Thursday Night Thunder. Hey, somebody started the bashing in my thread, I reserve the right to even the score back to neutral.

First will be Monday , then a second night of taping on Tuesday. If the PPV is too far then the days are Tuesday and Wednesday.

As long as Angle and his prostitute of a wife continue to whore airtime with other has-beens like Sting and Steiner at the expense of younger, more exciting talent I no longer have much interest in TNA. As much as I admire and respect Ms. Carter I cannot subject myself to 1 let alone 2 hours of their shows anymore. I can watch Raw and ECW but I just cannot get into iMPACT like I did for a while. Maybe I will start DVR impact when Jeff Jarrett comes back, but even he can't save that show. Dixie as an on air character, well, that may get my viewership back

I was really excited when Impact first got on Spike that i went out of my way to tell others about it and see it myself. Now i could hardly give a crap because the booking and stupid craplike Pacman Jones with a title kills TNA for me.
Until i start hearing good reviews from people other than the marks in this forum i doubt ill even watch.

wow why are you even posting on this board if you hate TNA It's obvious the poster before you doesn't HATE TNA, he just dislikes the direction the promotion is taking. Quite frankly, I don't blame him. TNA used to be all about PURE wrestling with minimal sports entertainment shenanigans, a true alternative to the WWE. You had nothing but matches where guys busted their asses to put on memorable match-ups. Now, what do you have? Sure, you still have the X-Division guys breaking their backs to wow the crowd, but you have to sift through the Undertaker/Kane rip-off nonsense with Abyss and this yet-to-be-seen new guy, Kurt and his wife in These Are the Angles of Our Lives skits and Pacman Jones making Kevin Greene look like Lou Thesz by comparison. Definitely grounds for complaints from TNA fans who tune in to the product to watch WRESTLING.

wow why are you even posting on this board if you hate TNA Because you don't have to be a fan of it to state an opinion on it. Just like you don't have to be a complete mark of the program to mod the board. I pretty much agree with Asia, too. I mean, i'll watch because it's wrestling and I love wrestling, but Pacman hold a title is a complete joke and so is the booking... for the most part. Again, i'll continue to watch because theres no other wrestling on Thursdays, but i'm definitely not a fan of the direction TNA is going right now. AJ Styles vs. Christopher Daiels > Sting vs. Kurt Angle- Triple S

Doesnt really matter, because they will only spend the extra hour filling it with former WWE stars and ridiculous angles in order to "try" and compete with WWE. I highly enjoy TNA, but the more they try and compete, the more they are killing interest in watching.

Whats wrong with you people ?
TNA getting a weekly 2 hour show is great news whether its live or not. In case most of you forgot RAW was originally a pre-recorded show and if it wasn't for Nitro it probably still would be.
TNA will now have more time to display talent. More time to build characters And more time to wrestle.
I think that most of you guys forget that the name of the game is WRESTLING. WWE has obviously forgotten that. If I wanted to see the results of a paternity test then I would watch The Maury Povich Show. I watch wrestling to see wrestling and that is what TNA is all about. And if you cant refrain yourself from clicking on spoilers then that is your own personal problem.

I wasn't talking to Asia in general because his was the post above me. If I was I would of quoted him to let people know the statement was towards him. I'm talking to everyone who posts here that hates/ refuses to watch TNA but does anyway.
Sure Pacman holding a belt is a joke, especially since his contract says he can't make contact with anyone. So he was basically give a title for standing around and spraypainting people.

actually, 3 years ago i went to raw in anaheim and saw the rock in a special appearance. lita and kane also got married that day. i cam home an hour after the show ended, and watched the whole thing on tv again. so no, you are WRONG. its not taped live. it is actually a few hours before, unless you have some direct tv. and yes, tna is filmed live if you are there. and let me tell you, i went to hard justice all the from the universal studios here in Cali, just to watch hard justice, and that was the best experience and pay per view ive seen. its just the TNA crowd gets so into the show which i love. the wrestlers basicaly listlen to you. if you went to hard justice, you know what i mean about kip and bg james yelling the hell out of their lungs at us and telling us suckit. lol. i even met the towel guy.lol. i love TNA. and if you dont, wtf are you doing on this board??
