Go have fun with Batista, Khali, HHH....guys that cant work. WTF? when did i say I enjoy Batista and Khali? LOL. HHH is a good wrestler. He doesn't have to do a lot to get a crowds reaction. His execution of moves look smooth. And saying HHH can't work is by far the most outrages remark anyone can make. Unlike Punk he is a skinny backyard wrestler who is sloping all over the ring. HHH is where he is b/c of Stephanie. He doesnt have to do a lot to get a crowd's reaction b/c he's been pushed to the moon. I dont really care who you like. You come on this board and talk like you know everything about everything. And Punk isnt a skinny backyard wrestler who is "sloping" (not sure what that means, I assume you meant slopping). In reality Punk is 10X better than HHH. He sells better. He is more fluid. He is crisper. And he is getting over without mic. time. Sorry he cant crack lame jokes everytime he touches the mic. and pump so much steroids in him so he wont be "skinny". Punk is a better wrestler cuz he aint using. |

I can't stand when WWE marks come here and say **** when they don't even follow indys. Seeing one or two ROH matches from somebody that you downloaded on your computer doesn't apply to watching indy wrestling. Gin is only coming to this board because no one likes this goof on the WWE board either.

....Now being a pretty big CM Punk fan myself, even I would never say that he was better than HHH.
HHH was main eventing based on his ring work and ability to connect with the fans a good 3 years before any of the Stephanie McMahon garbage even began.
...And for the record, watch any WWE CM Punk match and watch him still execute flying kicks and corner knees after his leg has been worked over for the previous 10 minutes. Punker has some mental work to do before he can be put in any conversation with the H's.

Even the guy who said it has admitted he was kidding. HHH cant work compared to Punk. He no sells so badly. Take for instace a few weeks ago on RAW. HHH/Flair. Flair had him the figure 4 for the longest time. After getting out of it.....HHH walked around like nothing had happened. Punk sells moves all the way through a match. if he spent that much time in the figure 4.....Punk would hobble throughout the match. I cant stand watching him. Dont get me wrong.......HHH used to have some bad ass matches back in the day. But those days are over. Call it injuries or just his attitude......but his matches bore the crap out of me. The best stuff he has had in recent years was his feud with HBK following Shawn's return at Summer Slam. Hell......the match at Summer Slam was damn good too. But I dont know how much to attribute to him or HBK. But I will say that he will sell for Shawn. But of course...their buddies. As far as my quote......dont be jealous of my super intelligence. I'm no JSWO.......but I do know my stuff. ;D Pure Shaped Mind.....you're out of your mind if you dont think Punk sells strong. You need to go back and watch his matches on ECW. In my honest opinion, Punk is one of the most overrated guys in recent years. He can sell like a million bucks, and he's good at best on promos, but his in ring stuff just makes me go bleh. And yes, I have seen his ROH work, and he was better then. I will agree that Triple H's selective selling does blow, though. And if you honestly think the SummerSlam 2002 HBK/HHH match was better than HHH/Orton LMS at No Mercy...well...nevermind, that's your opinion. |

If I came across as just totally dimissing HHH's ability.....it was more out of anger. I was speaking out my ass.....instead of my head. I was only thinking of most recent HHH. I dont agree with you on Punk though. I dont think he is over rated. I wont get into his ROH days, cuz I know you have seen him there. However, I will say that WWE has him toned down. They seem to take all kinds of great indy talents like Punk, London, Kendrick, Noble, etc. and tone them down. If they didnt.......the wrestlers wouldnt last very long and guys like Batista and Khali will look inept. WWE guys wrestle like 4 nights a week at least. Their bodies would never make it if they went like indies. If ROH started working 4 nights a week......their wrestlers would be dead, on IR or retired. So saying that his in ring work isnt as good as his ROH days is a true, but unfair statement....if you follow my logic. Personally, I really like the moveset that Punk has in ECW. I would prefer him to use the Anaconda Vice as his finisher instead of the GTS......hell....I would rather him use the Plunge, but we know that aint gonna happen. Yes, I think HBK/HHH Summer Slam was far better than HHH/Orton 07. I honestly dont think HHH/Orton have that good of a chemistry in ring. It was 10X better than their previous 1 on 1s......but not as good as anything HBK/HHH have done. I think my favorite HBK/HHH match was probably Last RAW of 2002, where Shawn pins HHH and everyone thinks he won the title after Bischoff counted to 3. But then Bischoff says that Shawn's shoulders were down as well and its a double pin. Awesome stuff. All around. |

Shawn Michaels & Triple H at SummerSlam 2002 was WAY better than Orton/Triple H at No Mercy. The No Mercy match was good but it's not on par with Triple H/Shawn. As Showstopper said, Shawn Michaels & Triple H have great chemistry in the ring. I have never seen a bad HBK/Triple H match. Can't say the same for Triple H/Orton. Their first two matches together were really bad. The No Mercy match was good though but it really wasn't THAT great.

HBK/HHH was not only built better from an entertainment prospective, but it was well executed in the ring. Shawn sold the back so hard with every blow and every movement. HHH sold everything Shawn had. Even the end was poetic and made it that much more special. As much as I cant stand HHH.......give HBK/HHH any day and I know I'm gonna get a fantastic match.
