It sure didn't last long. I got this from another forum.
Hows this for hitting a low... ICP results from last night...
JCW 1/25 – The Newport in Columbus, Ohio drawing 550 fans 1. Zach Gowen beat Slim Goody 2. The Weedman defeated Breyer Wellington 3. The Ring Riders beat The Iron Saints (Sal & Vito Thomaselli) 4. The Bloody Brothers defeated Bull Pain & Mad Man Pondo 5. Tracy Smothers beat 2 Tuff Tony 6. JCW Heavyweight Title: Corporal Robinson defeated Tryton Steel to retain his title.
The Bloody Brothers are, of course, Insane Lane and IAN ROTTEN...setting his retirement at a month and a week.

I knew it wouldn't last. Just like everything else, Ian said he was retiring just to up ticket sales. Same thing Zandig did.

actually, it's Ian BLOODY and Insane Lane.. not Rotten..
Ian's taking the Juggalo bookings, because it helps get other people booked, and the Juggalos pay very high. If he didn't do the Juggalo shows, Lane wouldn't have a job. Mickie wouldn't have a job. Deranged wouldn't have a job. I can almost gaurentee the Iron Saints wouldn't have had a job. He's not going to be working IWA, CZW, PWU.. anywhere but the Juggalos.. and hopefully that's a short term deal..
he discussed this at length on the new Peace Pipe Hour radio show

That doesn't change the fact that the entire retirement show was a joke.

Wait, what the hell....so much for that big retirement speech and all of the awards he got at A Rotten Farewell. I was expecting him to be COMPLETLY done, I mean we don't need another Terry Funk running around the wrestling scene.

You guys are missing the point...
ICP told Rotten, they would not book ANY IWA talent, Mickie Knuckles, Deranged, All Three Iron Saints, Insane Lane, and The Weed Man (aka Dysfunction), would not get work in JCW, and JCW pays far more than any other indy those workers get booked on.
He was blackmailed into wrestling, or not wrestle, and let all those guys miss out on fat paydays.
He's not doing this to lie or betray the fans, he's doing this to help out and NOT BETRAY AND LIE, to his friends and family. He needs the money ,and all those workers, DEFINTILEY NEED THE MONEY.
Ian is only working tag team matches, no hardcore, no actual working, just basically backing up Insane Lane and his guys in their matches. He's not like going out there and doing flaming barbed wire matches, or working anything close to what he was doing before he had his reitrement match.
Plus, he works JCW at most, twice every month. and only in tag team and 6 man tags.
Ian Rotten is retired from wrestling singles matches and any other matches not in JCW. and his 'wrestling' stint in JCW should be over soon, as he has implied this is short term and soon, there should be a third 'bloody' brother, and Ian will move to the manger position.
I was so insanely hyped fro his retirement match ALONG WITH ALL THE OTHER IWA MS FANS, and its hilarious, that the only people who care that he is giving other people jobs, are people WHO DIDNT CARE HE WAS RETIRING IN THE FIRST PLACE AND ARENT FANS OF IAN'S. So i dont get it, not one TRUE IWA fan is pissed at ian for helping his talent get paydays, the only people b*tching about it, are people who havent ever had anything positive to say about Ian in the first place.

the fact is he still lied, hes still wrestling when he said he was gonna call it quits. he's getting in the ring and still wrestling, so what if it's a tag match? he's still going against his word of retiring as an actual wrestler, and this is coming from someone who supports IWA.

and in all reality, all he's really doing is pulling a Steve Corino... Corino retired, but Mr. Wrestling 3 stills works, and Ian Rotten retires, but he stills works as Ian Bloody (not Rotten ), and only in JCW. Also, why does everyone take it so seriously, IWA fans support Ian's decision, go look at the message boards over there, the only people who aren't, are people who don't really support IWA at all.

I dropped near $300 last year alone on the internet DVD sales, easily $150+ more at the shows throughout the year and then i'll figure about $200+ on tickets to shows. I guarentee I put more money in their pocket than you did last year, so yes with about $650 from me and my dad combined we do support IWA. just because i support a company doesn't mean i have to support every decision rotten makes or suck him off whenever possible. no homo

Plus breaking your foot on the cage.. There's more to supporting the company than being a money mark

Nothing else says support like doing free labor for some indy company. You can't just retire from wrestling for a certain company. You either wrestle or you don't. There is no middle area. For the record I said he wasn't going to retire. Also if those other wrestlers can't get the bookings by themself then so be it. They can't be attached to Ian forever.

for the record, you're the typical internet smark that is all that's wrong with indy wrestling today. someone who just wants to sit on the internet, typing stupid remarks and making posts, instead of just going to shows, and watching the shows.
don't worry about who does what, just watch the damn shows, like a fan.

seriously, get off IWA's dick. you and tatoo boy both need to put the bias to the side.
and guess what? i never said i had more company support than him, i just said i gave them more money last year. so your arguement is null and void

considering that big $150 that you were bragging about.. was dropped from me alone on Kings of Extreme weekend.. and another $100+ on KOTDM weekend.. and 2 front row passes to Double Death and Ian's farewell.. plus general admission tickets to every Plainfield show except March Massacure this year.. and I went from having 1 IWA DVD to well over 100 from January to December.. I'd say I dropped a little more than you did, Mr. high roller..

I really don't like Sic Boi, but i have to agree with him on this, Ian is doing what he has to so that his boys make money. If he was doing it for his own benefit that would be different. You guys are blowing up at him for doing something he has to do, not something he wants to do.
