I keep popping in 08 now and then. Every time I do, I get my hopes up, hoping that maybe.. just maybe my goalies will actually play and not let in crap goals. I get let down every time  |

Did I ever post the sliders that I use for you guys here?
They're amazing...the only unrealistic stat I get from them are the amount of hits I have per game, but I really don't care about that. The shot totals, goals, faceoffs, puck movement, etc. is all realistic.

I had a fantastic game after taking KMIS' suggestions about pass speed and shot hardness. It was a close 2-1 shootout game where I was outshot 27-24.
I'll have to stick with these and see if I keep getting realistic games like this.

FINALLY!
I got my 360 back, and to see if it was my 360 that wouldn't play my NHL08.... Well, it was the problem, and now Im just playing too many NHL08 already, lol.

I think I found some really good sliders. The goalies don't let in every crap goal. More than I'd like, but I'll take it.
Although it's annoying when the CPU doesn't have to pokecheck to get the puck. They just skate by you and a light breeze manages to get the puck in their possession. Whatever.
I'm having fun with the game for the first time in a long time.

Bought NHL 08 a few months ago, I haven't really played it much until now; And I am in love with it! I'm 6-2-0 with the Red Wings right now in my first dynasty. I can tell I'm going to playing this game for a long time. It's so awesome.

I went back and started a Dynasty in.. .. NHL 04. Man am I ever having fun. I did a fantasy draft. My starting lineup looks like: Tanguay Rolston Gaborik Zubov Redden Nabokov I also drafted Dougie Gilmour for poops  |

I was playing NHL 08 on my 360 then i was bord so i poped in the PS2 version of 08 and the PS2 version is crapi might just sell it for 5 bucks.
