Luckily enough for me I was in Vegas at the time of the Leafs/Buffalo game, so, I never saw that.

I'm really getting sick of that face-off glitch online, it's happening every game now. Hope EA release a patch for this issue soon because I really enjoy playing games online against other people. I still suck at shootouts too. I lost about 7 in a row last night.  |

Just had the most exciting game ever online! Pens (Me) Vs. Sens. I went down 3 - 0 after the first period and got absolutely dominated physically and skillfully. Took about 8 penalty minutes and he got 2 powerplay goals in the period. Second period I was just on fire, absolutely dominated him and pulled back 2 goals (one shorthanded) to make it 3 - 2, but just before the end of the period he managed to put another one on the board to make it 4 - 2 heading into the third period. I piled on the pressue for the first 10 minutes in the third and couldn't break down Emery. With about 8 to go on the clock I pulled one back to take it to 4 - 3. I kept the pressure again and got the equalizer with 2 minutes left on the clock, just before I was considering pulling the goalie! Last minute was really gutsy for me cause he put on lots of pressure but I managed to keep it at 4 - 4. 3:05 into the OT period I put one home with Crosby on a 2 on 1 breakaway! Really exciting stuff! ;D

 in' 360, man. The one I have is horse shit. 2k8 started freezing and it's all scratched up. I totally plan on shelling out the dinero for an 360 Elite, because the box I have now is total garbage. It ed up my hockey games. But I'm all about EB's 3-dollar warranties. So there's my copies back right there. |

Okay.
One - Graphics are awful.
Two - The Controls are terrible.
Three - Turbo Button? We don't need that!
I don't know, I've been playing NHL08 more and more and more and more.

As Trypod has noted, the goalies in 2k8 are miles better than 08. But that's the only thing better about NHL 2k8 than NHL 08.
Overall, NHL 08 is a better game than NHL 2k8.

- Oh no.. the graphics. They're not bad enough to totally take you out of the experience.
- The controls are tricky, but it only takes a couple of games to get the hang of it.
- The turbo button is definitely unnecessary. I found myself relying on it way too much.
They both have their good and bad. It it weren't for the awful goaltending in 08, it would smoke 2k8, but yeah. The goalies ARE awful. So they're kind of even for me.
