Due to a medical problem with the RoH superstar to take on Eddie Kingston at One Night Only UWL had no choice but to change the match. Other then just randomly pick someone UWL decided to put out an open contract that anyone was able to sign, the man who put his name on the dotted line may not be an RoH superstar,but he is one of the fastest rising stars on the Independent Circuit right now:
"The New Horror" Sami Callihan is looking to make 2008 the breakout year for himself.
Accepting the open contract to face the current IWA Mid South Champion Eddie Kingston is just one
more step to Callihan becoming the next big thing in independent wrestling. Callihan has had big match experiance against the likes
of Zach Gowen, BJ Whitmer, Matt Stryker, Chad Collyer, Josh Abercrombie, Tank Toland, the Irish Airborne, and many others.
That list also includes picking up a 2006 rookie year win against Nigel McGuinness, and recently defeating
former IWA Mid South Champion Chuck Taylor. Callihan knows what Kingston brings to the table and plans
to match Kingston in strikes, power offense, and pure aggression!
It is set 3-22-08 Eddie Kingston Vs. Sami Callihan, with the winner being crowned the NEW UWL Champion!!!!!!!!!

Ruckus is out of the hospital and is wrestling on the 6th Anniversary show for ROH. The whole medical reason is an excuse as Ruckus is wrestling on the PWS show that night.

Not an excuse, we had Ruckus booked first, we were contacted and told that because of his medical situation he couldn't do the show. If he took another booking that day then that is on him.

Ah, the wonderful world of independent wrestling. It's how it goes. If someone gets offered more money they don't talk to the promoter and say can you offer this to beat his price, they find a reason they can't do the show. BG James is a master at this. |

Do we want people at the show? Yes. Will we be pissed if one guy doesn't show up? No. We'll put on the best show rather 10 people or 10000 show up. No matter what me nor the company will lose money. |

Why would I go to some indy I've never heard of out in Ohio when I'm from Jersey? I'm just stating that Ruckus has been booked for another indy since December. There is no way it's a medical reason keeping him off the show. Maybe that's what you were told but it's not the truth. Sounds to me like Ruckus was never really booked in the first place and this was a cover up. Either way it's a stupid argument but I just wanted to state that a medical reason is not what's keeping Ruckus from doing the show. The PWS show is much closer to him and he's probably being paid more considering it's closer and he doesn't have to drive all the way down to Ohio.

Ruckus people called us, we had to make a switch. Since FIP was running that day we couldn't get any other ROH guys |

K, no more of this. you just constantly play up, "Im a promoter and half trained, i know the business" gimmick on message boards like other goofs. have fun putting yourself over...on message boards and on your show. you're a 21 year old money mark and a douche bag. and it's ironic that you had an ROH STAR booked, you act like every indy guy who has name value is working that night, and shouldve known this ahead of time if you ever indeed, did book Ruckus. All I know is, King will prolly end up no showing your ass, you'll just put your title, whatever bullcraptitle it is, on yourself. |
