CM just delete the other "Japan" topics so it doesn't hog the board.

Don't buy ANY NOAH from 2007 except for Kobashi's return. NOAH blew hard donkey cock otherwise. New Japan 2007 is one of the best promotions this decade, definitely Promotion of the Year 2007 IMO.

ehhh not all of the 2007 NOAH show's were bad. Most yes,all no.Yeah though, New Japan is by far the best promotion going right now.their roster is out of this world deep.Nakamura,Tanahashi,Tomko,Bernard,Jushin,Tenzan,MINORU,Chono,Nagata just to name a few.

I don't understand why people act like NJPW didn't have a bad match in 2007. If I was to really think about it I could name a few.

Yeah, I've gotten to see alot of current NJPW, being a cheap bastard. And yeah, the roster is very, deep. RISE is an awesome stable, and Minoru and Devitt (Who dyed his hair back to brown thank God) as Jr. Tag Champs are pretty kickass. Bernard/Tomko as Tag champs is also awesome. AJPW, I'm not a big fan of. I only like a handful of their guys.

AJPW isn't and will never quite be the same without Baba.Still it has amazing drawing power because of Muto/Muta.not to mention Hayashi,Kea,Sasaki,Nakajima and the Voodoo Murders aren't half bad.

I like all the companies. The only one that lacks in my book is All Japan. I really don't think Suzuki should have lost the belt to Sasaki. I felt that run should of went longer.

Japanese wrestling is incredibly underrated. Being from England (and in college), I chat to many supposed wrestling fans, all of which proclaim how crap wrestling is, and all have a longing for the 'Attitude Era' (which I felt wass over rated). Anyway, I think currently the hottest thing in wrestling/puro is the impending IWGP unification match between Angle and Nakamura, the crossover gives the sport, such a feel of credibility. Atop of that the contest should be something to behold, I have to agree NOAH has been upstaged by NJPW over the past 12 months, one just hopes TNA and NJPW retain their working ralationship.

NJPW gains nothing from working with TNA.

New Japan 2007 is one of the best promotions this decade, definitely Promotion of the Year 2007 IMO. 7/15 was probably overall a better show than 12/2. 12/2 would be my 2nd favorite show of the year. But the atmosphere was the best. I got chills during one of my favorites of all-time, Kenta Kobashi's return.

NJPW gains nothing from working with TNA. Finally, you say something that's actually worth agreeing with.

I say yes. Ricky brought up a good point once as Angle can't work both full schedules. I'm pulling for Nakamura big time. Goto/Nagata will be good, and Tanahashi/AJ could be pretty good too.

Tomko will continue to be the link between NJPW and TNA after Angle loses.

I think the link's dumb in the first place. I liked the idea of 1/4/08, but now I don't like it. I think Tomko should go to NJPW full time, and NJPW should call over Abyss for a tour. A tag match with Bernard, Abyss, and Tomko on a team would be amazing beyond belief.

Yeah, Muta will always pretty much be a great draw. Kensuke and Nakajima are pretty good, and VM I haven't seen alot of except Shuji, and Kojima. Suzuki is also pretty kickass. Kondo is a damn animal. And well if you haven't seen much of "brother" YASSHI, it's not a huge deal. Most of his "matches" are borderline comedy acts. And to bring up the somewhat old topic of Michinoku from the 90's, I really hope you've seen Sasuke vs. Super Delfin.
