When I heard about Fergal, I went straight to Puroresu Fan. The good news is that the injury is not career threatining.

^^^Jimmy Rave is doing pretty good, actually. However, I see Tiger Mask winning. I would love to see Wataru Inoue win though.

Jimmy Rave is only going good because he got 2 extra points because one of his opponents was injured.

He was given points due to an opponent's injury. That isn't doing "good".

Well
Either way...
Better than 0...
And for this being his first NJPW tour, to have 4 WON points, is good..

I don't know much about Puro, I'm a huge fan, I just don't know where to go to keep up with it. Anyway, I recently heard that New Japan did their own brand extension. Is this true, and if so, how is it doing? And are they and All Japan doing any better? I'd heard they've been having money problems for the last few years.

Rave ended with 6 points. same as Kanemoto, but b/c he lost to Kanemoto, Kanemoto advances to the semi-finals as #2 from block b, with Tiger Mask being #1 from that block. block A isnt finished yet, so their opponents are unknown. if Taguchi beats Liger then, it will be Inoue and Taguchi, but if Liger wins and Minoru wins, then it'll be Inoue and Minoru. Inoue has made it to the semi-finals, but he might not be seed 1, depending on Taguchi's match. the only guy with 0 points right now aside from Devitt, is Yujiro. Yujiro wrestled all of his matches and lost them all and sure enough he's Minoru's last opponent.

Is this true, and if so, how is it doing? And are they and All Japan doing any better? I'd heard they've been having money problems for the last few years. i dont know where you heard that they did a brand extension but that is completely incorrect. they gave Chono a show called Premium, which is replacing WrestleLand and LockUp. LockUp is Choshu's thing, but NJ stopped funding it, so Choshu funds it himself now. here's the champs of the top promotions to help you out: NJPW: IWGP Heavyweight - Keiji Muto IWGP Tag Team - Togi Makbe and Toru Yano IWGP Jr. Heavyweight - Wataru Inoue IWGP Jr. Heavyweight Tag Team - Jushin Liger and AKIRA AJPW: Triple Crown - SUWAMA Tag Team - Keiji Muto and Joe Doering Jr. Heavyweight - Ryuji Hijikata NOAH: GHC Heavyweight - Takeshi Morishima GHC Tag Team - Akitoshi Saito and Bison Smith GHC Jr. Heavyweight - Yoshinobu Kanemaru GHC Jr. Heavyweight Tag Team - KENTA and Taiji Ishimori i can post the champs for any promotion if anyone wants them.

Wataru Inoue completed an inspiring 2-crown achievement today, the IWGP Jr. Heavyweight Champion taking the junior division by the scruff of the neck and winning the Best of the Super Jr. to not only add another trophy to his cabinet, but win a place in the G1. More to come.
NJPW, 6/15/08 (WPW) Tokyo Korakuen Hall 2,010 Fans - Super No Vacancy Full House
0. Tomoaki Honma beat Mitsuhide Hirasawa (5:59) with a lariat. 1. Fourteen men will comprise the 2008 G1 Climax, and all but two of them are known after today. The big news is that Hiroshi Tanahashi returns much earlier than originally expected from injury, taking part in the tournament alongside mainstays Tenzan, Nagata, Nakanishi, Nakamura, Bernard, and Makabe. Yano is given the nod over Iizuka due to his big rise and ongoing IWGP Tag Team Title reign, while Hirooki Goto will get to experience his first G1. After his 2-crown achievement, Super Jr. winner Wataru Inoue also enters his first G1. No Chono or Koshinaka this year. FOUR outsiders will take part this year, the big and shocking news being the return of Toshiaki Kawada to New Japan, the freelancer back for his second G1 after reaching the semi finals of the 2005 version. And DRADITION's Yutaka Yoshie, who has started interacting with New Japan wrestlers again as part of the NJ/DRADITION working agreement, is also back in town. Two more outsiders are set to enter, with ZERO1-MAX likely to occupy at least one spot, and there is always the possibility of Keiji Muto, depending on whether they want him in or want the tournament to create a new challenger for him.
- Hiroshi Tanahashi - Hiroyoshi Tenzan - Yuji Nagata - Manabu Nakanishi - Shinsuke Nakamura - Hirooki Goto - Giant Bernard - Togi Makabe - Toru Yano - Wataru Inoue - Toshiaki Kawada (freelancer) - Yutaka Yoshie (DRADITION) - Outsider TBA - Outsider TBA
Ah, damn... I was hoping Kanemoto was going to win. The G1 Climax list looks really good. I hope we get Tanahashi/Kawada II in NJPW. Hopefully another Nagata/Kawada match in G1 2008 to make up for their subpar G1 2005 match.
