I wish. But he won 2003's. I see this being Tanahashi or Kea's year. But then again... look at Muto. I really do hope Kojima wins it, though. But I'm expecting Kea to win it. Suzuki has a good shot at it, too.

Kawada's going to win.

Kawada has NO SHOT.Other than Satoshi, i wouldn't mind Tanahashi winning. Please, please no Kea though. He just bores the crap out of me. I hope Koji whips out his black/orange gear again though, his voodoo attire is growing stale.

We'll see. If you think Kawada has no shot, why even suggest Tanahashi winning?

Because Kawada just had a shot at Kensuke on 10/18/07, so giving him another shot 6 months later is pointless. Suwama's taking it...his confrontation with Kensuke is obviously leading to something. I'd bet on a Tanahashi/Suwama final.

People who have won the Champion Carnival don't always take the road for the title. Since the NOAH split, the majority of guys that won the CC either were champion or had a title shot within a few months. I think Mutoh and Tenryu in 2001 and 2002 were the only who didn't.

Tenryu didn't challenge because he was champion already, Muto was in the decision match for the Triple Crown after he had won in 2002. Kojima didn't challenge until a couple tours after in 2003, Muto didn't challenge in 2004, Sasaki didn't challenge in 2005, either. It happens all the time.

Okay, so Tenryu and Mutoh were involved.
Kojima wins on 3/28/03, challenges 6/03. He was involved. Mutoh didn't in 2004. Sasaki challenged 3 months earlier.
So in 2001, 2002, 2003, 2006, and 2007, the winners were involved. 2 years had people win that didn't eventually challenge.

Mori retrieved his stolen costume back from Genki after their match. Naoki acknowledged that there were those he opposed him returning to the DG ring, YAMATO included. Naoki asked YAMATO to team with him. YAMATO refused, but left open the possibility for down the road. Ryo however came out, and appealed for a tag with Tanisaki. YAMATO and Naoki exchanged slaps, then shook hands. CIMA won with a Sol Naciente style submission. Doi threw in the towel for Yoshino, causing the ref stop. Doi was very impressed by Yoshinos' performance in the match, and praised him. Yoshino thanked him, and the 2 reconciled their team. CIMA requested a handshake from both Doi and Yoshino, but Gamma stopped them. CIMA gave his usual big match speech, noting the pressure of always defending on a big show, He joked that his next defense would be in Dragon Gate Arena in front of 110 fans, vs. Stalker. Surprisingly, Ryo stepped in and threw in his name for the next challenger. He then left during the closing ceremonies, not joining in with Typhoon. YAMATO attacked CIMA on the exit ramp then ran off....
Not surprising to me NOAH took the belts back.

I know i'm kind of late on the memo, but nice to see Dean back. Yes, he's strong-spirited, but definitely one of the founding fathers of this board. I'm not gonna kiss his ass, or any more if it appears I just did. Just nice to see. And as if I need to front the issue, I'd take any one but in' SEH. Every one has a right to like or dislike who ever, but there's juist no hope in either one of us tolerating the other. So yeah, not a cheap shot I just wanna have a clean conscience for when ever.... if ever, we get some big reunion.

That's fine, it was only my bias opinion not the general consensus of the board. Oh and while I'm at it, whats the word on Rhino having a tour planned with New Japan? Is D'Lo Brown still taking bookings or is he tied up as a coach/agent in TNA?
