I don't think Big Mouth Loud has had an event since 2006. So is Shibata completely out of the business now? I could have sworn I saw a video from 2007 with Shibata vs. Sasaki.

I don't think that was Big Mouth. I was. But I looked up the video and it was actually 2006. Damn... I miss Shibata.

I can't wait to see what NJPW throws at us in the coming months. I bet Nagata will be the guy to dethrone him.

I think he'll make some defenses in AJPW first. Nagata isn't going to take on so many dates to start off once he comes back, either.

Didn't think Muto would win. Seems that Nakamura could have gained more from beating him.

Wait, so he's a AJPW wrestler with NJPW's top title?
What?

New Japan and All Japan have a good working relationship, and in Japan most of the wrestlers aren't restricted to only their 'home' promotion. Keiji's done a few NOAH shows as well.

Here's a better photo: Credit: Strong Style Spirit Personally, I was also hoping Naka would've gotten a longer reign, but I'm glad if he lost it to anyone it was Muto. I really want to see the match.

...perhaps, that is if Dixie Carter were revered as one of the greatest wrestlers ever in her home country.

He's done ONE NOAH event, and that was at the Tokyo Dome. For some reason, AJPW and NOAH's relationship is pretty bad. I wish all 3 big promotions would produce a huge Dome event sometime, but I doubt it will happen.

Wait, so he's a AJPW wrestler with NJPW's top title? What? This has happened before. Satoshi Kojima won the IWGP from Hiroyoshi Tenzan while Kojima was the Triple Crown champion. He won the Triple Crown 3 DAYS before winning the IWGP title, so it was a pretty big deal.

Keiji will hopefully get a long reign, with Chono taking it from him in like 9 months. But that probably won't happen Chono, is the WCW '97 Ric Flair of Japan. They'll probably just throw it back on Tanahashi in like 2 months.
