I've got nothing against Red, I'm just wondering how he will look in the ring after all this time off.

Fantastic news to here that he's returning to the ring. Hopefully, he'll come back to TNA some time in the near-future. The X-Division would be awesome with him back in it.

I don't see why everyone hates him. Way back in 02 and 03 the stuff we saw him do was amazing for it's time. Obviously since then everything he pulled out back then has been topped by hundreds of guys but maybe he'll come back with those same types of innovations that he used to have?

I always thought Red was underrated in selling and working as the underdog babyface.
Sure, he was never amazing in the ring, but he had a good sense of timing on his comebacks, and, with his recklessness in the way he took care of his own body, he could make other people's offenses look like a million bucks.

Dude, maybe you should stop ragging on everyone. Every time I see a post by you on this board, it's you trashing another wrestler because they don't work the style you like. I mean, you're pretty new to wrestling, I don't think it'd be a good idea to get a reputation as someone who badmouths other wrestlers. What if you had to get in the ring with them one day? Anyway, Reed used to be good, before he had the knee injury or whatever. He hasn't done anything noteworthy since.

Anyway, Reed used to be good, before he had the knee injury or whatever. He hasn't done anything noteworthy since. Its just my honest opinion. Im gonna get told Im bad for a while because Im new, but I know that. These guys have been getting work for years and it seems they should be past spotfests and a zillion flips that mean nothing. The moves guys like Red do could mean so damn much and blow an audience away like never before, if they educated them to think they were that great and important. When your opening spot involves a dive to the outside, it makes the DDT finish you use (example) look like crapand makes other people who use a dive or flip as finish, look like theirs doesnt mean anything. If I didnt like the style he works what else would I say? Trust me, I avoid four times as many threads as I do comment in them. Relax. Its called an opinion. And Id like to see these guys last more than 4-5 years. Red is a perfect example of what that uselessly spotty style can do to you and your body. Hes lucky to be well enough to come back to the ring.

Roh should book him again. They have much talented workers. Jack Evans can do what he can plus that. Matt Cross can also, hell he can work gymnastics into his moveset. Red was good when he came around, but he's nothing special anymore. Watch DragonGate.
