Help me prove just how real wrestling is...

so far here is how my speech is being outlined

-Blading
-Injuries
-Darren Drozdoff
-Stone Cold
-Mick Foley

some videos i'll be showing:
Owen piledriving Stone Cold
Brock breaking both Hardcore Holly and A-Train's necks
Jack Evans falling/being throw off the Cage of Death
Clips from Foley/Taker HIAC

i'll be showing some videos....most of wrestlers actually being injured while wrestling, i've decided to not use any death match type stuff out of good taste

if anyone has anymore ideas feel free to reply...the speeches start tomorrow but i doubt i'll be going since there are usually people that like to volunteer to go...so i'll probably be giving my speech friday

The whole point of a speech is that you don't use visual aids.

I think the best approach would to address that, yes, the winners are pre-determined, so in that respect wrestling is "fake" but the actual actions being performed in the ring are anything but. You could go on to list training, injuries, etc. There is nothing "fake" about the number of wreslters who have broken their necks/legs/arms in the ring.

I was getting ready to say that. As people see wrestling as theatrics, which to a degree it is, but there's skill and a physical demand.

There's no strings as some one once said, or should have.

One of the dumber things you could do is show and/or talk about stuff like Owen's piledriver on Austin or Brock breaking Bob Holly's neck, Hayabusa, etc. Your point is that wrestling is more real than it looks, not that human beings make mistakes. The only thing you'll prove by showing a bunch of botches is that wrestling is fake and the only time guys take any physical punishment is when somebody messes up. That's not the message you're looking to give.

Show pictures/clips of the chops and talk about how even when performed to exact perfection, the guys are still landing on an unforgiving surface when they take bumps. To talk about the mistakes that have lead to injuries would be idiotic.

That's actually a good point for your interview. If you can find interviews or documentation by professional such as doctors, it'll really add credibility to your presentation.
