Wow, this rant completely fails.

-I think that the presidential race, the democratic side anyways, is becoming more of a popularity contest. I mean, for some it will be either about the first black president, or the first woman president, and which we should choose. Why not just throw Condi Rice in there and kill two birds with one stone?

Well I don't really have a say in this as I'm not living in the US, but it just goes to show how narrow people are. Hilary is only doing well because she's related to Bill and Barack is only doing well because he's black. It's a sad world, but there you go.

-No matter how funny it is, no famous reviewer will give a stoner movie a good rating.

Because you have to be stoned to enjoy them, and they don't want to damage their reputation by being under the influence and giving biased reviews.

-I don't get what WF's obsession with Stallone is. He isn't that great. Yes, Rocky is amazing, and there are a few rambo clips that are fun to watch, but everyone acts like he is as great as Marlon Brando or Jack Nicholson.

I agree with you. Our society is going on a downward spiral. I never understand why people get a kick out of those things. Although I would say regarding iPods that this quest for the most expensive possessions is ruining society as it is turning poor kids who want to be popular into total wrecks. A lot of people don't even like any decent music anyway.

-Black people have it better than white people. Deny all you want, it's true. My history teacher tried to pull the whole "If you go for a job interview, the white person would get treated better than a black person." Yeah, if the guy is white. If the manager was black, the black person would more than likely get treated better. Plus, black people can walk into the whitest neighborhoods, get beat up, and everyone makes a fuss. But when a white guy walks into Compton, and gets killed, no one gives a ****? I'm gonna go on a limb saying white people are the minorities now and days.

I do find it ironic that your username is Whitest Kid U Know. Makes you seem like a wigga. But anyway, you're right. If they want racial equality, they have to stop being nice to black people and allowing them to assume attacks against them are "racially motivated". They may very well just be a twat. Just seems an unnecessary scapegoat.


-I'm sick of how much bass players are left out of main fame in the band. Ask some rock fans, ones who say (for example, not pointing it out as THE main perspective) a Pantera fan. Who was the singer? Phil. The Guitarist? You kiddin me, Dimebag! The Drummer? Vinnie Paul! The bass player? ehhhh. Odds are a good 40% of rock fans won't know the bass players, in not just pantera, but ANY rock band, because we have Guitar Magazine, Drummer world, Ill be damned if I dont know many bands with no fame for the lead singers. Only time I see people knowing Bass guitarists if they are also singers (Motorhead, Blink 182), or VERY VERY popular (see Led Zeppelin).

Again, perhaps a little random. Bass players are just backups really, i mean if you take somebody like Dave Ellefson, he was in Megadeth for ages but you wouldn't really notice any of his playing or music writing. However, a classic example of 2 bands that really are centered around the bassists are Red Hot Chili Peppers and Iron Maiden. These bands wouldn't be anywhere near as good without Flea and Steve Harris respectively.

-I don't get why goverment, and everyone else have problems with gays. They aren't like starting riots or doing anything specific, they just have sex a different way. And don't pull the bible bull **** out, because not everyone is christian.

Now see, here's where I disagree with you. Homos see themselves as an ethnic group when if they just acted like everyone else outside of the bedroom, they would be more respected. The fact is, it is shown to be okay to be gay, when in actual fact it could end the human race faster than terrorism. It's a mental disorder and people don't want to believe how damaging it would be to the world. It's a choice to make, they say. I know from people i've met that it's not their choice, and they try to shake it off and lead a normal life, but they are unable to think so.

-What is with bands saying they will 'change their style', but their next album (90% of bands) are the same. See: Linkin Park. "We are done with nu-metal, we need a new sound!" If you listen to Bleed it Out, and tell me that isn't nu-metal, you must have inperfected hearing. The only thing that changed about them is they wear different clothes.

You need your head checked. None of that album is Nu Metal. It is utter bollocks. Enough said. As for bands changing their style, i have a parallel to that as in when people say a band has made it's "return to form". They never state what point their form is. I mean, take Megadeth for example. Their current day stuff is filled with bad choruses, that are nothing like their old stuff, yet their latest album United Abominations gets called a return to form by many. Another is Simple Minds. Their most recent album Black And White 050505 sounds far more like a Joy Devision or Editors record and not like Simple Minds.


- How come good, talented people like Heath Ledger have to die young but ing Britney Spears and Lindsay Lohan still roam this planet drinking, doping, and partying.

If i was a member of the WBO, i would say he'd been cast to hell for being in that gay movie Brokeback Mountain, but i'm not, so i will say it's because he's really not as famous as Britney or Lindsay, but also that he's male whereas women tend to just put a lot of make up on and everything's alright.

This "holiday" is completely 100% pointless and people should buy any cards because Hallmark tells you this is the day that you show the person you love that you love them.
