that sucks, I can empathize a little since I had surgery 2 years ago also (not for the same thing though). hope everything goes well with your arm.

I am kinda out of it right now, but I wanted to write you all. I had my surgery today and it took a little over an hour. He went there and clean and shot my up all over with meds. It turns out I am lucky because it didn't make it to the bone yet. It was all over the muscle tissues and other tissue. I am hurting worse than ever before in my life. He left me open and just packed the inside of my with heavy glazes and meds. He want it to heal from the inside/out. It will be a very painful recovery, Each visit I will have to get the glazes changed and it will be painful each time. I will still have the Pic Line in my arm for at lease 4 weeks and it maybe longer. I got stronger pain pills and they still have me in pain. There was some great news and that is it was not in the bone. That means my chances of keeping my arm are wonderful. Thanks you all for your thoughts and prayers.
