Law & Order: SVU and CI, House, and 24 for the more serious shows.

When it comes to tv I have a few shows that I record every episode on my DVR as to not miss it: Monk, Psych, (I don't know what I will do no that these to are off till July) Colbert Report, and the Fox Sunday Night Line Up. other than that it's mainly news or old sitcoms in syndication.

American Dad, and i was addicted to it till i saw every episode so far. Good job there are 6 more in the current series and after that another series to come. In my opinion it's better than Family Guy because the characters are a lot better thought through, and also it does not rely as heavily on pop culture to get gags. There's no reason to compare the two though, it's like Megadeth and Metallica.
To a lesser extent I like Family Guy, South Park, Simpsons, Futurama, Scrubs and Shameless.
