HONOLULU - Military officials are investigating an Internet video that purports to show a Marine throwing a puppy off a rocky cliff.

Maj. Chris Perrine of the Marine Corps Base Hawaii says it appears the man is based with a unit in the islands.
Marine officials are calling the YouTube video "shocking and deplorable" and say it violates "the high standard we expect of every Marine."
The low-quality video shows two Marines joking as one holds up what appears to be a motionless black and white puppy, which he then hurls into a rocky gully.
A yelping sound is heard as it flies through the air.
The video was removed

That's terrible. I am animals love and lots of people trying to make an cool to animals such as like as that, and recently in UK, a boy who throw stray cat over the cliff. But the cat nowhere to found, no one know if the cat died or not. But that still terrible.
If I am in the charge like as court or so, I would banned them to have or touch the animals and spend 25 years in the prison, or life sentence in the prison.

Thats the kinda soldier i want in Iraq...If hes ruthless enough to do that to a poor innocent puppy then hes heartless enough to blast a terrorist to hell. And if they (terrorist) get to him first then its not big deal cause hes still a worthless human being

Wanna know whats even more sick, if you listen to the video you can clearly hear the mother dog in the back ground barking in distress. The reason I know it's the mother is because we raise pups all the time and when we take them in for worming and bottle feeding for the malnurished, the mother sits outside barking constantly with the same tone.

I'm not watching it, because I don't need to see it. Just reading it is bad enough. I have to admit, I wish they would throw him off the same cliff as punishment. They should just put a bullet in his head though, because you can't rehab evil like that.

These people that do these sadistic things like torturing animals, kids, or anything of innocence will pay the biggest price of all. They will go to a 'Hell' and be tortured themselves throughout eternity. I will not watch that video and suggest that no one else watch it. Just know that evil always loses and will pay the ultimate price.

The video is horrible. First the marines throw pop tarts at little kids then they throw puppys? It horrible. I hope the puppy is fine. However, it took a pretty far throw. Its horrible.

the video looks fake, the dog just doesn't seem to fit in with the rest of it.
at the beginning the dog just doesn't seem to be actually there it kinda looks super-imposed and the fact that it's not making any noises and is motionless is odd aswell, when he draw back for the throw it looks like he's actually holding something but the dogs face is obscured so it could easily be a stuffed and when he throws it something seems odd about the throw and the soundcan easily be faked, ultimately though Icant tell if it's fake or not, if it is then it'sa very good fake if it isnt it's a very eerie and sickening video.
