The guy is a killer, why couldnt he simply just threaten them with the gun? ...appears to me he did...and they kept moving, hence the, 'several gunshot blasts' moments later. |

I hate that they pull racism into something like this. It's not his fault the people robbing the house were black. It's not like he's a member of the KKK and just saw 2 random black guys on the street. He's not wrong in this instance.. however, he's no hero. i agree w/ the admin. |

Wow, alot of people here are dumb. His house wasn't being broken into, you dumb  s. If it were his house, I could MAYBE understand it, but what the . It's someone else's house. Let them deal with that ****. Hmm. So your neighbor's wife is being raped? You don't do anything, because it's someone else's house, let them deal with it? A neighbor's house is on fire? Do nothing, because it's someone else's house? Trick question. If I know my neighbor's wife is being raped, then I'm a pervert. As for someone's house being on fire, that's a completely different situation. Haha. Maybe you'd make a point to me if you were putting similar events together. |

depends if they really were coming towards him. It also depends if they put their hands in the air. I would have to see a video to be sure. I happen to know that some people that are 60 are racist such as my dad but I am not sure if he is. I think he was wrong he should of stayed inside or if they had a car get license plate numbers.
If they were in his yard and he told them to get down and they charged at him or went for a gun too shoot him then he is a lucky man and a hero. If they weren't coming after him or if they were doing as he told them and he shot them anyways he is a killer. It all depends on many things to know if he is a hero or villain.
However if they got shot in the chest and side my guess is they were coming after him or they just stuck their arms in the air and he shot them either way.

Because if they lived they would have killed an innocent person someday. It happens all the time. Some good person out there will live because of this. Oh, you know this for sure? I'm glad that you can say that as a fact. I'm changing my mind now. I do know that for sure because this story keeps happening all over the USA with different people. 2 bad guys dead many more good guys live. |

I'm not the one trying to pass off my statement as fact. I don't know, he doesn't know. He is the one saying for a fact.
I can say, without saying it as a fact, that had he stayed in his house, his chances of living were much higher than going outside with a gun to see what was going on.

Well, he is an idiot, that much is true.
And you're right, had he stayed inside, his chances of living were much greater. Of course, should we all hide while injustice occurs all around us? After all, our chances of living would be greater. DId the guy take things to the extreme? Sure. Ideally this wouldn't happen. Ideally, people wouldn't break into people's houses. A man made a decision to try and stand up for what was right. Things went much further than they should have, but he was trying to do the right thing, what were they doing?
