I saw this camera on Attack of the Show: The HP Photosmart R847 Digital Camera 8 Megapixels3x optical zoomIntuitive user interface with a large menu pad Quick power on and picture taking comparable to more expensive cameras Satisfying navigation of pictures and videos HP Steady Photo Adaptive Lighting Burst shot for sequential images Records video Photoshop in your camera with touchup, filters, borders Remove red eyes from humans and pets Lots of lens distortion Zooming-in compresses image Wide angle pictures look like a fish-eye lens Higher ISO speed (ISO 400 or above), meaning shorter exposure, has way too much noise Noise permeates pictures even at ISO 100 Great for casual pictures with friends Stylish to bring anywhere Terrible for any sort of amateur photography May be able to find a camera with better image quality for the same price on the internet About $200

Megapixels don't really have too much to do with the image quality anyway, it's just an indication of how large you can blow the images up without affecting quality. For 140 bucks, it's probably not the best camera.

For 140 bucks, it's probably not the best camera. This guy is right. Don't bother with a high MP camera if you don't plan on making pictures bigger. It may overall be a disappointing camera, as some are just not great at taking close or detailed pictures. But I'm not a camera expert. 140 just sounds a little too inexpensive for a 7mp, so i imagine it lacks in areas. My camera cost me 300 Euro (approx. 440 US $). I think its a quality camera though. Like said above. Megapixles have nothing to do with how 'good' the pictures turn out. It just means pretty much that you can make larger prints. Camera brag timeVery pricey, but I recommend saving up..my shots look like-
