Today was one of the most 
ed up days I have ever had. Before I get into the rant I'm going to debrief a bit so everyone understands. Me and my dad work at a hospital in the same building, floors and time. He got me into this place 2 1/2 years ago. We work late 2nd early 3rd shift. The place is a dingy and disgusting dump and should be condemened for poor upkeep and bad services. People that come here sometimes die (semi-rare, but way above average for a normal hospital) from something the doctors caused (accidently poping a vein, lung, vital organ) or from really unclean exam/surgery rooms.
Well over the course of the last two weeks my dad visited the local tribunes website, and you can post on articles kind of like here and give your opinions. Well my dad has kind of a sick and twisted sense of humor and clicked on a article that was trashing the place and the editor was right in doing so, all the employees in my department feel the same way about the **** hole. My dad decided to talk about how the place kills family members on purpose and how it looks like your walking into a dungeon, and noted the ammount of corpses left on stretchers that just lay out in the halls for hrs. (which is true).
Well one of the big shots that proudly calls himself the Human resources director of public relations was reading the article and got all offended and pissed off about it. He had the IP traced to which pc it was from and it so happened to be in my area. So I got called in to work 2 hrs. early today to have a meeting with this douchebag and he pretty much throws all this on me and trys to get me to fess up about this. I was floored and denied it and they kept trying to interogate me. They then went and printed a list of all the known websites that they can trace me to such as this one, rajah.com, gerweck.net, gamespot, ebay and a few other low key sites that shouldn't cause much damage. So he then showed me all my user names that I have logged in under and my passwords. I admited to them and said they were mine and he thanked me for being honest. Well then he asked me who "Bobo" was and I didn't know what he was talking about. He told me that I can admit to those but not this one, and I told him I honestly didn't know that screen name. He sent me off to do my job and when I went back my dad was in working.
My dads one of the best we have in our department, he can fix anything and is the reason that the place still stands without falling apart entirely. Anyways I get back and start bitching about what they were accusing me of and he gets a ghastly look on his face and tells me he was "bobo" and what he did. Well 5 minutes later I get paged back to the office and they start interogating me again. They said they were giving me one more chance to admit to being bobo and quit or they were going to fire me. I didn't know what to do and told them that it wasn't me but the person responsible is in the dept. and theres no way in hell I'm rating them out. So they started interogating me and saying either I tell them or i'm immediatly fired. I refused so I was fired. I can't tell on my own father, it's against my morals. Now the problem was, I made $15 an hour without college schooling and that is damn good money for around here. I have a house I'm paying off and tons of bills. So as I was being escorted out by security they asked my dad into the office and told him "What I did" and he admited to being Bobo. So of course he gets fired on the spot and escorted out. So now he's out of a job too.
I got a call from my union rep 3 hrs. later asking what happened and I explained it and they went to the dick head and told him I'm to be reinstated, but he's trying to pull the "refusal to give information on a fellow employee" ****.
I don't know what to do, it's soed up and wrong. I've never done anything bad at work and have always done my job even though I hate the place. It's a horrible time to not have a job with all the hollidays coming up. Is there anything I can do like file law suit for wrongful termination, plus they refuse to show me where it is in the policy that I have to tell on a fellow employee when they ask me to. This is just so ed up.
