I'm honestly so afraid of needles that I'd rather have the flu than the shot. I'm with you on that one.

Not a chance. I'm frightened of needles. *pulls out balloon of heroin* Anyone? C'mon, anyone? *shrugs* More for me. No, I didn't get one this year or the past 4 years. I could get one for free, but I really am too lazy to go do it. Not to mention since I quit my job I rarely leave the house and I don't have much interaction with the public. But you people do know that you can easily die from the flu, right?

I'm really good at getting needles.
I get a blood test every 2 weeks because I have Crohn's Disease.

I always get the flu when I get the shots, whenever I don't I'm pretty much in the clear The shots give you a small dose of the flu virus, that way your immune system can fight it and build a strong defence agaist that virus, Thus making it a vaccine.

Every time I have ever gotten the flu shot, I have always gotten the flu. For the past 3 years I have not gotten a fly shot and I have not got the flu. Go figure.
