My aunt's dog Sebastian was put down today. He was 16 years old and was a Golden Retriever. I remember when we went down The Pocono's which was just last week and it snowed down there and Sebastian, as old as he is still had fun in the snow. Even though he stunk up my aunt's house I still miss him. The people said he should of been put down years ago but everytime they tried my aunt just couldnt do it. I will always miss him.

That's really unfortunate. Just try and remember the good times you had with him. I'm sure there are lots.

My aunt is down Delaware because if she seen them putting him down, she would stop them. She knew that they were putting him down but didnt know when. She was really hoping that he'd die in his sleep but the old guy did not want to die. My aunt who is 33 had him since she was 17. I did tear up today. I just cant think of how my aunt will react when she comes home. I'll try to get a picture up but I cant guarantee anything.

16 is a REALLY good age for a Golden. Most don't make it past 10 - 12. I'm sure he had a wonderful life and is no longer feeling any of the pains the go along with being that age.
