OK, well my mom loves birds, and she puts them outside during the day because we have no room in our house. And today all of a sudden a hawk comes down and we see him flying off with her bird. Then it came down two more times, but I was out there. What do I do? I can't shoot it because of the law.

I guess you could get one of those things that let off a loud BOOM noise to scare the birds away. They used to let those off on campus when I was in college.

You could build a little "room" thing for your birds in your backyard. Or perhaps you could poison the birds you have now so they will kill the hawk when he gets away with another one. Then once the hawk is dead, you're free to have all the birds you want.

The only way to fight those dickheads we call wild life is hire bigger, meaner animals to kill them. I suggest either a polar bear or perhaps a kraken.

Look into your local laws, have a lawyer do it though, he'll find loopholes. There might be something in it about if it attacks your pets, you're allowed to defend them however you see fit. That's what the law states here. My friend killed one because it tried to take his cat on several occasions. I don't know why it kept trying though, it was a big, fat cat and couldn't carry it on like the first 2 tries, maybe it thought "lucky number 3". What a dumb bird.

I so want a kraken, but my local fish store doesn't sell them.  Anyway, just put a net up over the backyard. The hawk isn't going to fly down, swoop under the net, scoop up the bird and leave. Also, I'd cut down on your population of birds. If you don't have room for them, you don't buy them. It's that simple. I like fish and would love to have a really big tank, but I have no room for it. So I don't buy it. |

Put them inside some sort or large enclosure or something like that. The safest way is to just keep them inside though.

buy a shitty bird that no one cares about then put it in your mouth and when the hawk comes to eat the shitty bird close your mouth and swallow the damn hawk.
