The intent of the thing is to communicate with spirits. In reality, it's been tested under lab conditions and proven to all be in the users head. I saw one experiment where they simply asked yes and no questions. The researchers blindfolded the users and then substituted a board where the yes and no were flipped around. The users still went to the side where they thought the yes was when they wanted a yes answer and vice versa. It's all in your head.

I think I may have tried these when I was really young. Trust me, 10 years or so ago, these were popular at least for gag gifts.
Now I can't say where I stand on them. I'd rather not communicate with the dead, if only to piss them off, thank you very much.

Seriously, if a Ouija board really worded, don't you think Parker Brothers would be charging a little more than 6  ing dollars for it at god damn Toy's R Us? exactly. i don't believe a chunk of plastic made in japan and shipped in a box can be the bridge from us to the paranormal. |

These things are fake.
They are believed to communicate with the dead, but communicate with evil spirits by way of the Devil.
So, basically, if you intentionally use one of these to contact the dead (evil spirits) you're experiencing Satanism, or the worship of Satan, and you'd more than likely go to Hell.
Well, that's my take, and I sure don't wanna mess with the Devil, or the dead.
So, I guess I'm not gonna use one, and I advise you guys not to, too.
