for the New Hampshire residents.....

Our first major storm of the season is set to move in tonight and stick around for much of Monday... central and northern NH will see the precipitation stay mostly in the form of snow... whereas southern NH could see some of sleet (ice), and even rain/freezing rain possible in extreme southeastern NH. With all that plethora of precipitation on the way, as you can imagine, driving conditions will go downhill quickly tonight and for much of Monday.

Light snow and flurries could arrive as early as this afternoon, but it won't really begin to accumulate until tonight... late night is when the most trechorous conditions will occur... and lasting into Monday morning... obviously, there is a decent chance of multiple delays and cancellations for Monday morning.

We should all begin as snow tonight.. but as we go through the late night period and overnight, some warmer air will try to wrap into southern parts of the Granite state, which could change some of the snow over to sleet and possibly freezing rain at the coast. Most of this mixed precipitation will occur in southern NH, and areas north and west of Cocord should see the majority of the precipitation in the form of snow, but sleeet could mix in at times. There IS a chance that this mixed precipitation stays just barely to our south... If this were to happen, then snow totals will be even higher than you're seeing here.
