Hi,
I'm planning my next vacation (WM24) - for the first time ever in the U.S.!
So here's my question: do you have Prepaid Mobile cards that I can pic up everywhere or do I have to register?
If I have to register is it possible for someone who doesn't live in the U.S. to pick such a card up?
Who's the best/cheapest provider and where can I get a Prepaid Card?
Thanks for your help in advance!
PS: If you still in need of WM24 Tickets, I have 3 left. Check my signature.

You can get prepaid mobile cards anywhere, but you have to buy and activate a phone if you don't already have one. You're phone should probably work though. I bought a cell phone off eBay that was exclusive to Europe and I've no problems with it.

What company do you have a phone through?
Prepaid cards are easy to get, but if the company your's is through does not sell them in America it could be a problem.

I thought of getting an extra new number for the vacation in the U.S. to save on speaking costs. That's why I was wondering if I have to register to get a prepaid telephone number in the U.S.?

You might not have to, but getting a prepaid phone over here can be cheap, especially if you are only going to be in the states for a little while to catch WM24.
