is the madness just beginning? I mean look back at 2007, so much has happened and 95% of it was bad. Im not just talking about Benoit. Here is what I can come up with, Benoit V Tech Omaha Mall Shooting Sean Taylor God knows how many political scandals. Add some more, as I have been drawing blanks with alot today, Anyways, is this just the year, or are we just gonna keep getting ed with violence and death. The world is coming to an end, weither it be because the bible predicts the whole "7 years before the apocolypes" thing or the fact that soon enough we will all kill each other.

The total of those deaths put together don't even come close to 9/11. 2007, sh*t happened. It's going to keep happening, we live in a ed up world. We gotta get use to it, the world ain't changing for the best.

Most of the world is peaceful. The media just picks out all the bad stuff and creates the illusion that the world is a horrible place when the reality is most people live in peace and just go about their lives day in and day out without anyone trying to harm them in any way. Now cheer up the world is not ending. The 24 hour news channels report bad news all day but it is the same few stories used over and over. If they had a 24 hour news channel with just good news they would not have to repeat one news story all day. They could fill the day with acts of kindness and still have enough left over for a second and third channel.

Thats all bad stuff but it shouldnt be taken as a sign of Apocolypse. craphappens. And to say that this year was bad compared to 2001 is rediculus. The things you listed dont add up to anything close to how bad 911 was. Bad things happen every year, sometimes more bad then good. This is just one of those years.

I didnt mean just those, I mean thats just what happened in the news. , if I wanted to list everything bad that happened this year, itd take me probably 48 hours to do so. And I never said it was the offical sign of the apocolypse. I dont even know if the apocolypse is real or a ing fairy tale. Im just saying what has happened lately is violence and hatred.

I think the end and recoming is very near.. The bible forewarns these as signs:
Knowledge and Technology "Seal the book until the time of end: Many shall run to and fro, and knowledge shall increase." -Daniel 12:4
Steady Increase in Natural Disasters "And there will be famines, pestilences, and earthquakes in various places." -Matthew 24:7
Wars "For Nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom." -Matthew 24:7
The Gospel Preached to the World "And this gospel of the kingdom will be preached in all the world as a witness to all the nations, and then the end will come" -Matthew 24:14
Isreal's Rebirth "Thus says the Lord God: Surely I will take the children of Isreal from among the nations.. Whenever they have gone, and will bring them into their own land..." -Ezekiel 37:21
"Shall the earth be made to give birth in one day? Or shall a nation be born at once?" -Isaiah 66:8

Im a Christian but I dont think we are in the end of times. Technology has always happened, the wheel for example. Wars as well have been happening for basically ever. Gospel Preached to the world is nothing new. I dont really have anyting to say about Isreals rebirth since I dont know too much about it.

You guys act like this **** is something new. If the world was going to end, it SHOULD have ended in World War 2.
"People Want To Kill Each Other"
People want to kill each other People want to kill each other Like clockwork it happens every day That's ok I hate them anyway Get over it - Get on with it Somethings never change We don't have time to waste Its always been the same It's a no win human race Another's laid to rest It happens to the best What a dying shame Anger is to blame
Get over it - Get over it - Get on with it Get on with it - Get on with it - Get over it People want to kill each other People want to kill each other Murder is our future and our past It's not the first and sure won't be the last
It has always been the same since day one when a caveman grabbed a rock and went and killed someone. It might have been a rival for some- thing to eat, programmed for survival Violence is instinct Now it's modern day and nothing really changed, replace the rock with a gun Just point and take aim. Now there's many reasons religion, race or greed, programmed for survival violence is instinct!

pretty sure the world ends in 2012 because the Mayans AND Nostradamus predicted it. Ooh and that's less than seven years away so we probably ARE in the Seven Years Before the Apocalypse of the Christian Bible. Pretty neat how they all came together at once!!!

...and yet no one's mentioned some Mayan elders believe that 2012 is a transformation date, and not the end of the world.
Oh, and the bible's been wrong too.

I am so sick to the teeth of the bible. I mean for sake! What exactly is it that makes the bible so special anyway? Because its old? It sounds like a bunch of Warner Brothers cartoons thrown together and a bunch of random quotes. Besides, hasn't it been translated time and time again? surely some of it has fallen through the cracks. All these ridiculous theories are the reason I am not in the slightest religious. If "God" existed the way the bible says.. then why isn't he doing something about it? As for the world ending? The world ends when you end. Its an inanimate object. Its earth. Its spins. thats it's purpose. It doesn't contemplate killing itself or "ending" civilization. I'm fed up of these bullcrapstories the whole time. As fair2flair said, its a nice place if you want it to be. My rant isn't directed at anyone in this thread in particular. Just the religious people on earth who feel like they have to shove their beliefs down everyone else's throat, and be ignorant to anyone who doesn't wholeheartedly agree!

Guys I dont think anyone gets what I am saying. To try to put it simple, Im saying that the world seems like it's ending, not that the world is ending. I gotcha, but if people had cared more about future generations, instead of the here and now, we'd have been much better off. Then again, past generations didn't know what we know right now. I'm sorry, but I'm much more worried about carbon emissions from gasoline and the ozone layer killing us, than a 'prophecy' or 'biblical crapola' destroying the Earth. What the world needs to do, well... what humans need to do is stop being such disgusting pigs. There is TOO much pollution, air, land and sea, to much fighting, to much greed, and not enough caring. But most people write that off with saying it's hippy bullshit. We haven't taken care of the Earth, and whooptie doo, we have 'green energy' now. Wow. Yeah, a little to late, and spread far to thin to make the huge impact it could. The major thing that needs to happen, is for all of the human race to put the future before itself. One thing I greatly think needs to happen, is for the American government to utilize all of the marijuana that is seized every year. It's a well known fact that hemp can be turned into a renewable fuel, BETTER rope, cheaper paper, it's biodegradable, NOT a harm to the environment, and is totally natural. But no, people would rather smoke it than use it for what good it could have. The human race will be the worlds downfall, the ironic part is that the human race is the only thing that can prevent it from happening... but since it's not easy, fast, and right now, no one gives a shit.

All these ridiculous theories are the reason I am not in the slightest religious. If "God" existed the way the bible says.. then why isn't he doing something about it? Because God gave us free will. He doesn't interfere with our lives, if the world ends, it's our fault. Which makes you think, that if dude is all knowing, and we do all die, and it's our own fault... why would he have created this world anyway knowing we'd just it up?
