Yeah, this isn't just a WF thing, I've come across this on MSN, Bebo, Other forums, etc. etc.
I really don't understand it.
I think it has to do with the huge amount of "lesbians" on t'internet. Maybe guys feel like they will get more attention if they pretend to be a girl.
What i don't understand though... what the point in getting attention from a girl on the Internet?
Its pointless!
I mean.. I talk to Carola (whom i can assure you all is a genuine female) and i don't see how things would be any different talking to her if i pretended i was a girl or not.
I Mean.. If i PM her saying "OMG Another girl! i thought i was the only one on this forum! let me see your tits!" She just won't reply or will laugh at me.
I mean.. it makes no sense whatsoever.
Although in saying that... I'm pretty sure Kim, Fattic and TRW are the same person though. And Jack is Chelsea, Melissa and ::Double J::. I wonder how many accounts Sucka has... hmm...

my brother used to do the same thing back when he was 14 or 15 in aol chat rooms & he's gay. they must like getting attention from guys on some level, there's no other reason i can think of to do it since it's so pointless otherwise. That was my whole point, you are totally right. I mean, because if I was going to be a dick on a message board I would just spam and post gross/stupid things...not fake being a girl and try and get hit on by guys. Soooo clearly these guys who do it must be TRYING to get hit on by guys....I mean, if somebody is gay who cares, I have no problem with people who are gay, you are what God made you. But just say you are a guy, you are gay, maybe looking to talk to other gay men....it's really simple.No need for this elaborate scheme of creating multiple accounts and posing and pretending to be a girl and trying to get all the horndogs on here all riled up fighting over you. you're right, it would be that simple, BUT these are young teenagers so you've got the whole deal coming into play where they aren't comfortable with their sexuality yet, etc. etc. so that's like their way of "testing the waters" in a way that doesn't put them "out" yet since they may not be totally sure what they want yet. idk, that's just my theory on it, but i think it's sound |
