yeah I really can't believe you guys are getting down on this kid for wanting to stop his 15 year old friend from doing speed. Please, it's not like he snitched on her for drinking or something. Instead of being bungholes, maybe you all should look at yourselves and think of how much courage it took to try to help his friend instead of letting her move on to meth or something. Jesus, he's not being a douche here, just let up on the straigth-edge bashing. Texting a teacher about your friend being on speed takes courage? Really? |

Holy . would it make you guys happier if I modified my post so it didn't say "hardcore" I only ing said that so it gave you the idea that I'm a serious edger, not a punk band wagoner. Back fired I guess. Lock this thread. I asked if I should TALK TO HER about why I tried getting her help. NOT: "Do you guys agree with my life?" ing dick bags. But, since you guys want MORE of the story; I was talking to the one chick who knows this girl about it and said: "Do you have Napoleon's number? Because you're on the volleyball team and I know he's had trouble with Jess. I'm just not sure if I should talk to the counselor or what ever." |

You're being made fun of because you, like 90% of all "straight edgers" (lol), are full of ****. If you were choosing sobriety because your health is important to you, then you wouldn't be bragging about it. Hell, if you weren't doing it for any other reason than to be cool, then you wouldn't even call yourself straight edge. You would be sober, and you would keep your mouth shut about it. I'm a fairly heavy drinker -- functional alcoholic, I believe we are called -- but I haven't turned it into a personality trait. I don't base who I am around one minute detail about myself. That's what you "hardcore straight edge" idiots do. It's a fad, and sometimes it's also a fashion statement. |

Maybe she called him over to watch her do it as her passive aggressive way of telling him that labeling yourself as straight edge is really ing stupid? |
