So I seen a thread about getting a piercing and thought about Tattoos.
I know of one person in WF getting a tattoo on his birthday, and I've really thrown around the idea of getting one myself. Though more so one with thought put into it and not necessarily a done deal.
Anyways, who on WF has tattoos? What is the significance of the ones you have, quantity and quality of them, and any plans to get more or pictures of what you have?
How about those that don't have any, you plan to get one?
And overall what's everyones opinion on tattoos?

I have 3 and also plan to get more.
1) I have 3 (though i count the entire thing as 1) Ninja Stars going down my right forearm, all different sizes. I'd wanted this design for years and after going through some personal troubles decided to get it done; the view in mind being i had been though so much pain recently i might as well have some more and actaully have something to show for it. The Ninja Stars are from the Metallica 'Load' and 'Reload' albums and are made up of 4 of the Metallica M's put together to form a star.
2. My big tat is the Metallica Racing Stripe i have on my left arm. It starts from my shoulder and finishes above my elbow and is the width of my arm. Though my star tats were something to do with Metallica, i wanted something to show my love of the band and it's music so went with the stripe. Most Metallica related tats seem to use the star (hence why i used 3 in a row; at different sizes) so went with the stripe cos it seemed so over looked.
3. My final tat is one of my faves cos it sums me up. It's on my right arm, above my elbow and isthe silouette of Mike & The Bots from the tv show Mystery Science Theatre 3000. See i've been told i look like a "ex con" (yes someone actually said that to me). I'm about 6'2 with a shaved head, beard, piercings and tattoos up my arms. Safe to say, little old ladies aren't running up to give me hugs. My MST3K tattoo is there cos of what i really am; a geek. I love comics, movies, anime, manga, wrestling, i collect Transformers and other movie/tv show related toys as well as wrestling figures. Basically i'm not what i look like on the outside. This tattoo shows my true geeky self through my favourite TV show of all time, Mystery Science Theatre 3000.

I currently have 3, and will most likely be getting another one while I'm home from school and many more down the road. Right now I have a Yankees logo and a barbed wire tribal armband (BLAH, regret it x 100000) on my right arm, and a custom piece on my left arm. My next one will probably be something to cover up the right arm, because I am honestly ashamed of myself for getting a tribal tattoo. Here is a pic of the custom piece I had done on my right arm.. it's a phoenix and raven in the skyline, with a person on two paths (one "good" one "bad")...

I have one on my wrist. It means equality. I want one more going up my right side on my stomach, but first I want ab definition. So the likelyhood of me getting one there is slim. I'm not sure what I'd get though, but I think they're hot as hell.

I think I'm gonna get the Death By Stereo skull logo on my wrist sometime. Possibly take a trip to CA and get it done by their old guitarist, who doesn't even need a reference to do them.

I have one on my forearm, its a tribute to my dad that passed away nearly 6 years ago, actually it will be 6 years on X-mas day. The black part behind the cross looks crooked in the picture, but thats because of how I was holding my arm, it doesn't look like that in person. Where: Left forearm When: February of 2007 Artist: Rob from Lucky Lady Tattoo's in Richmond, KY

If I was a dog, I'd hump your arm till we both went numb, at first sight of that tattoo.

I don't have any yet, but I plan on getting a lot of work done later on. I've always been a huge fan of tattoos, and I've had some ideas for some for quite a while.

I don't have nor do i intend on getting any. I think tattoos look great as far as their designs go its just i dont like the idea of them and how permanent they are. Some just look down right hideous though. I say if you are getting one make sure you have thought about it. I would refuse to advise getting a big and large one but then again im not at all interested in getting one, they just look odd to me (i cant explain it really ). I am just not comfortable with them like i dont mind if others have them but i refuse. Some are just repulsive whilst some are good. Not my thing though...
