Well, it all started last month when my grandma went into the hospital. She was in there because of an infection in her blood, a bad heart, and a bad kidney. She recovered after the surgery on her heart, and kidneys. She came home. Everything was fine. She was walking, talking, maybe too much. But two days ago she took a turn for the worst.
I was in my room playing Rock Band, when my mom yelled for me to come downstairs. My grandma had fallen, and my dad needed my help picking her up. We lifted her onto the bed. My mom asked her to pick up her arms, and legs, to make sure she could move. Her left arm would not move at all. My mom quickly called 9-1-1. I sat with her, while my mom and dad waited for the ambulance. And she started to rub her head vigorously. The ambulance came, and took her to the hospital.
About an hour later we get to the hospital, and we find out she had a stroke, and that her head was bleeding, and her head was filled with blood. She has been in a coma ever since.
According to the doctors, theres really nothing they can do. And it is really likely, my grandma will not be coming home.
And then today she passed away.
Also last night my dog died...What a Christmas present...

What a combo, and unintelligently I wanna say, that's why I don't have any more pets.
But seriously, sorry to hear about your loss. I know the most truthful words I can say is that it's never a good thing to lose loved ones near the holidays because it dampers the spirit. Not for the fact it's a buzz killer but rather nobody wants to put on a fake smile act like they're not bothered by something.
Anyways, just be happy you and your parents were there for her when she needed you. That's all you can account for.

Damn man, I'm sorry to hear about that. Such a terrible time to lose your grandma and your dog. Just do your best and try to move on. That's all you can do really.

You have been one of my best friends for a long time, and this really hurts to read. Family deaths are always really hard to go through, but for soem reason grandmas always seem to be the toughest. We always get so emotionally attached to them in a way unlike any other.
I know nothing I can say will help you, but I'm always free to talk via AIM or PM. Stay strong for your family, bro.

Well I kind of know what you are going through. One of My Grandma's has a deadly brain tumor and gave her 3 months to live. A week and a half ago my other Grandma had an appendicitus now she can hardly talk and can't walk anymore she can barely feed herself and she can't do very much. My mom and I think she is going to die but my dad is saying she is doing well. He also doesn't want to believe she had a stroke because she can't move the right side of her face. So yeah expect me to be making a post like this in a few months if not weeks.
