Yeah I woke up and looked at the TV and just seen a bunch of 2hr delays for other schools and we ended up being closed. Kind of chilly with some blowing snow.

we had a storm over the weekend schools from the state did get delays but mine didnt,ugh

I've mostly been getting two hour delays this year, today included. We've had one closing.

PA got nothing but Ice...well at least my area. Almost all the schools around here got a two hour delay but mine was one of few that closed. So I assume that we don't have power considering tens of thousands don't in my town alone. I'm one of the lucky ones. Lights have flickered since yesterday but never went out. Most won't get power back until Wednesday.

Snow day here too. We had a 2-hour delay but they closed at 7:30. We got about 2 feet of snow with this storm.
Interesting little fact, I haven't had a full week of school in a month. November 12th we had off, the next week was Thanksgiving Break, December 4th was a snow day, we got out 2 hours early on the 13th, today is a snow day, and next week is Christmas Break.

When I lived down the Poconos for a year, they didnt get off from school for a foot of snow! I was pissed. It was delayed but thats all.

I worked from home today, so in essence, I did have a snow day, but it didn't count as a "day off".
