lol at this thread. I prefer Ed Hardy to Affliction, because im very into traditional american tattoo art. Adam, your jacket is bad ass. Also I had no trouble with AYP. My jacket was 75 (plain black) and i threw on a Cockney Rejects shirt and some patches to make it over 100 so the shipping was free! Im gonna def need tips on how to paint it though. Im going to use it as a ring jacket for when I turn heel. Also I dont see the need to brag about spending less, or the need to brag about spending more. As long as all of you ugly s have clothes on, Im satisfied.

"I used to wear a shirt that said "Anti-Crombie". F*ck the system! Down with college trends! Take that preppys - I shop somewhere else!" "Hot Topic is a contrived identification with youth subcultures to manufacture an anti-authoritarian identity and make millions. The $8 you paid for the Mudvayne poster would be better spent used to see your brother's friend's band."You don't win any anti-capitalist battles by bragging about your twelve dollar Hot Topic jeans. Thank you. People make Affliction fans out to be some major douchebags just because we like the clothes and they are expensive, then turn around and act all high and mighty for buying something else. They are as bad as they make us out to be.

I've checked some affliction stuff and heard of ed hardy. I'm not sure if it's just the price or the fact it's so overly mentioned, yet to purchase any thing.

I truly HATE the overall Affliction design. I'm an OBEY man myself, I've gotten about 10 different OBEY shirts over the last 2 months. They're just fantastic artsy designs.
I don't know if anyone's seen the new Affliction stuff, it's japanese woodblock art themed. That stuff I can easily see myself buying, but all the typical stuff they have is just terrible
As far as Ed Hardy, it's really cool stuff at first glance but I can see myself tiring of it pretty fast

As long as all of you ugly s have clothes on, Im satisfied. Acrylic Paint Pens. I've painted SO many leather jackets for friends over the years because I can look at a picture, and draw it back the same way. I had heard though, that my method was too time consuming, and to just use regular acrylic paint. BAD BAD BAD IDEA on leather. That green sleeve on mine, I did this past year, and because the coat on it isn't thin, it sticks to everything and needs touching up. If you can't draw or paint, I think you should buy some Elmers Acrylic Paint Pens and take the jacket, and pens to one of your talented tattooing friends. One thing about painted on black leather though, to get colors to pop, use AT LEAST two base coats of white wherever the picture is going. Looks 100x better. Here's an example of a jacket I did like that, the girl wearing the jacket is named Jordie, and is my last guitarists sister. All of the white was done with 3 layers of paint, and so was the Exploited skull, red sleeve, and Chaos U.K. logo. (top of the back is a Krum Bums logo... thought I'd point that out to you.) -And to keep this on topic, I know the jacket, being at $700 is expensive, but I kinda see why it is after really thinking about it. Yeah, it's distressed and looks older and used, but I'm sure every jacket like that is hand done, and so is the stitching and the sewing. And if anyone here has ever sewn in leather, you know just how hard it is to do. Would I pay $700 for it? Nah, would I pay $80 for pants? No, I barely pay $10... but like I said before, if YOU can afford them, go for it and wear it proudly.

Yeah, that's true. I'm just sayin, less of my hard-earned cash came out of my pocket, y'know?

I'm just saying, with a little work, you can make clothes like Afflictions and spend WAY less money. Screen printing isn't hard, stenciling on clothes isn't hard, and painting a jacket to how you want it to look isn't hard, and it's more rewarding to me at least, to make something yourself and take pride in it. You take shots at people for how they look, does that make you feel more respectable?

I myself love the design, but when I go shopping they never have my size. When I try one on, Basically it looks like a tube-top, because they're used to 5'6 people buying them, I'm around 6'2. Same goes for the jeans. I'd love to wear them, but I can't. I can honestly say that I envy some of the people who can pull it off. Guess I gotta' shop at Moore's

Guess I gotta' shop at Moore's I'm sure if you shopped around you can find it your size. Randy Orton is like, 6'5'', and wears it all the time, so just try to find a bigger size.
