I got a calculator/digital watch with a flame armband on it from my aunt once...and I was  ing 18. I also got a horrible shirt like this once:  Do you know how hard it is to pretend to be grateful for crap like that? They always ask me why I never wear the watch or the shirt. WHY DO YOU THINK?!?! Thats a Rat Fink shirt! Damn! Back in my day (holy sh*t do I sound old!) those were awesome! ha it's not a Rat Fink shirt, I think the image changed since it was being hosted on another site. YOU PEOPLE SHOULD BE ASHAMED FOR DENYING CHRISTMAS GIFTS!!! ITS THE THOUGHT THAT COUNTS   Where shall I begin?  -A cheap MP3 Player, while all the cool kids got Ipod nanos i got a piece of crap sansa from big lots that broke the following February. - Crappy Charlie Brown Mcdonalds toys. I was old. - Micheal Jordan basketball socks. Nothing wrong with the thought cause i Specifically asked for them, but they were knee high. I could never wear them. - A homemade bam margera shirt I liked bam and asked for some bam/him shirts, and my mom gave me a lime green shirt with the word bam written with gold glitter. I never wore that, cause it was cheap, gay, tight, and the glitter scrathed through the shirt and was really uncomfortable. I can think of more. Thats it for now. -Oh I got another. I used to love Gameboy Color (2000, it was cool) and I asked for some games, pokemon, mario ect and the only one I got for xmas was a crappy bargain bin motorcycle game i never even heard of. -Crappy dollar store magic trick sets, that didnt even work. my mom put a reingdeer sticker over the One dollar pricetag. |

My aunt always got me turtle necks, I kept telling her that guys usually dont wear turtle necks. I told her to get my hoodies or jeans. Now she just gets me a gift card to walmart

I've never really gotten a bad gift... a lot of moderate stuff over the years, but nothing like, "hey, this is stupid," sans last year. My cousin bought me a set of three huge metal/mirrored candle holders. Those went on ebay. My aunt always got me turtle necks, I kept telling her that guys usually dont wear turtle necks. Unless I'm buying craft stuff, fabrics, paints, screen printing supplies (which is normally all at Hobby Lobby), I really never go to actual 'stores.' Typically, I do ALL of my shopping online, books, records, specialty vegetarian food, and other crap... and all of my family and relatives know it. It's not that I'm ungrateful or anything, but it's still poorly thought out. Could be worse, I could get dysentery for Christmas. |
