I have heard too many problems with Vista.
I also have a laptop sitting here too, also XP.

Yeah. Vista is no good. I have Vista on my desktop at my mom's. I perfer XP.

Good ol XP on the Windows standa-lone. Windows does ok overall although i know Mac's may be a target for me in the future as they are the 'one to have' when it comes to multimedia/graphics/design. Ill be getting a windows laptop soon though, vista im guessing.

I use two. I've got my desktop that I built myself so it's not really any one brand. Has a 3.0 ghz processor, 512 mb of ram(yes I know that's extremely weak), 300 gb hard drive (I'm a media whore what can I say) and runs XP Pro. It's my primary computer that I'm almost always on when I post here. I use it to surf the web, pay my bills, track my check book, conduct whatever business I have to conduct, etc...
My second computer is a used laptop. It's got a 2.3 ghz process, 1 gb of ram and only a 30 gb hard drive (that I intend to replace one of these days). I use it mainly to play games. I play Chessmaster and TEW 07 (a game I am horribly addicted to) and I surf the web occassionaly. It runs XP Pro also.

I have my own computer I bulit. It's got an AMD Athlon 64X2 Dual Core Processor 4200+ 2.21GHz, 2GB RAM and a 500GB hard drive. I also have a Samsung 22 inch widescreen monitor.

I use a Compaq Presario V6000 Laptop with 2 GB ram and 160 GB Space (Though 20GB is taken up by Windows Vista and Office). It's a great computer and much better than my old one, an Acer Travelmate 240 with 27.9 GB space (though i think there might be a virus on there because every time i delete something it's still running low on disk space) which i still use occasionally for additional storage. The internet doesn't work on there, so that was the main reason i got a new one, as well as to do my A Levels.

I have three:
an old iMac G4 (the flowerpot style)
Compaq Presario laptop (hate it)
New MacBook (love it)
Maybe my laptop just sucked, but my experience with these three computers has made me a diehard mac person. My iMac is going on 4.5 years old and it runs better than my 1.5 year old Windows laptop, and did run better even when the laptop was brand new.

i use Xp on my comp, and Vista on my parents comp. I got the better deal. Ive had this computer for about 4 years and i keep upgrading parts. I call him Franken comp

I use Dell. But i have problems with Dell sometimes. My last computer was a dell and we got it and they forgot to put a fan in it so it kept crashing.
