Ok so yesterday I tried sending a text and I got "SMS Barred" appearing.
I went in to the Orange shop today and found out the reason it was blocked is because I am £1412.00 over my limit (Contract)
It seems lending my phone to people isnt a good idea. They said it was because of short code numers (807234 etc) that you text. They had been stored under names in my phone so i texted them asking who they were etc and spoke to them. And by the looks of things my 3000 free texts havnt covered me. I dont have that kind of money but its unbilled as they think the phone is stolen but if i ring up hen i have to pay but i want use of my phone. I'm really worried as its in my dads name that if i do ring up to try and explain that they will debit it from his account.
(Yes I'm aware I'm telling lots of strangers, no I cant RKO the entire Orange company)

Well if I understand correctly, people texted on your phone and ran the bill up? Just make those people pay for what they used. If it was you...stop ing texting and and call. It would save you lots of trouble.

Honestly, you owe the money, and you should pay it. WHy on earth would you let people borrow your phone? Might as well let them borrow your credit card and use it too.
